The apostle Paul states that you can never be seperated from the love of God. How does the view of an eternal torment realm for unbelievers or the unbaptized in any way uphold this view?? If God has created all men in his image, and if the holy spirit resides in all of us, is not a part of God or the holy spirit being condemned along with the individual spirit?? Can we even rest in peace, residing in peace, when we know there are others burning eternally..... And if we can, should we wish to rest in peace with a God that shows his unseperating love for them by allowing them to burn?

Someone, explain how a hell can exist without presenting a million and one contradictions.....

Could we leave our heartprints as we go through life?
HEARTPRINTS

Whatever our hands touch---
We leave fingerprints!
On walls, on furniture,
On doorknobs, dishes, books,
As we touch we leave our identity.

Oh please where ever I go today,
Help me leave heartprints!
Heartprints of compassion
Of understanding and love.
Heartprints of kindness and genuine concern.

May my heart touch a lonely neighbor
Or a runaway daughter,
Or an anxious mother,
Or, perhaps, a dear friend!

I shall go out today
To leave heartprints,
And if someone should say
"I felt your touch,"
May that one sense be...YOUR LOVE
Touching through ME.

they do not believe in god .. they who began the war with god .. god did all goods to them .. he created them .. he did not create them as animals or as plants .. he did not create them as insects .. he created them as humans .. yes as thinkable humans .. so was it fair to them to not to believe in him .. god expected respect from them .. but look at what they are doing .. they do not show any respects to GOD .. then who should we blame .. GOD or nonbelievers ..

Do you give in charity, other than the obligatory 'zakat' of 2.5% of your annual savings?

Do you help students with their tuition fees, buying books, giving them jobs?

Do you help those in debt to relieve them of their burden?

Do you give to orphanages and charities and make sure your money reaches the intended receipient?

Why would He/She create humans that will do evil? There are those who argue that it is our free will and the already existing evil that cause people to lead evil lives.

I do reply this to those people who do accept this: When God created us, (it) already knew exactly what we were going to do. And since this God concept is all-knowing, it therefore knows which human created will go to heaven and which human will eventually go to hell.

Some say that it is up to us whether or not we will go to hell. I again remind the characteristic of God to be all-knowing, and even if it was up to us what we did with our lives, God would already know what we will do. So my question is why would a God create a human that it already knows will eventually go to hell?

I just had a thought that mankind could be considered socially evolved if we found a permanent alternative to war. I mean, if two nations are disputing the rights to some land or resource, why should the ability to kill and destroy decide the winner? There has to be a better way. I'm not smart enough to think of what that might be right now, but someone must be.

And, he'd also married a 9 year old girl called Aisha?

I read these things here, itself.!?!?

How many women did he marry?

Is this why all these Muslims can have so many wives?

Because their Prophet went around marrying women of all ages and stuff like this?

I'm sure curious to know.

No disrespect intended, but this does sound ... different, to me?

Snake-handlers believe the practice shows faith and God's power. The text for the belief is Mark 16:17-18: "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

Long was bitten at the East London Holiness Church. Police have information that says she was handling a yellow timber rattler that struck her on the right cheek, Mitchell said.

The sheriff's office in Lee County, Va., said Long apparently was related by marriage to a snake-handling preacher there who died in April 2004 after being bitten by a snake during an Easter service.

Towards the end of the Roman Empire, the Christians were used as entertainment for the masses when they were fed to the lions in the Roman Colliseum. The Romans like many civilizations enjoyed watching violence and felt it was great sport to select the Christians as the Lion's food.

While we're not exactly being fed to any real lions, do you ever feel like we're being treated the same way, like we're the sport for the current-day Romans?

If so, how can we respond so that we continue to represent Christ?

I just don't get it. Why doesn't anyone care about me? I have no friends who are TRUE friends. Even my husband doesn't care. He's leaving for a six-week stay in Italy in a few months, and even though he knows I can't drive, he said I'm a big girl and I can figure this all out for myself. He doesn't care if I'm okay while he's gone. The people I work with don't want to give me rides; they're sick of it. My husband tells me I'm a burden; he'll sometimes make me wait at work while he finishes up a football game or an online poker game.
Truth be told, I don't feel like having friends anyway. I just want to be by myself. I feel... better that way. Most of the time.
I'm just so confused. I want someone to care. Even God is gone. Where did He go??? I haven't heard a thing from Him in over twelve years. What happened to the "come to me and I'll give you rest"?
I just don't get it! Where are the people I need to hold me up when I can't hold myself up? I can't find a single one. Not that it would help if I did. I have an almost phobic fear of opening up to people face-to-face, over even on the phone, which makes it stupid that I’m crying because no one cares. But I just don’t know what to do. I think that if I told my husband all this, he’d take it as a guilt trip. If I said I needed help, he wouldn’t want to drive me to the therapist.
*sigh*
I give up.
