Do you help students with their tuition fees, buying books, giving them jobs?

OF COURSE, it becomes a part of your everyday life.. especially those who are fallen in debts and have no one to relieve them from their burden..
i've also found out that the more you give the more you get in return.. in the begining i thought that it was just talk to make people give more but it actually works.. its not only the money you get in return but the whole feeling of peace you feel inside i cant explain it but its beautiful.

I am not wealthy, just a middle class sister. I am having a hard time figuring out which charities are legitimate. Please leave a comment on my page, Insha Allah, letting me know which ones you give to. Thankyou for the reminder, too. It is too common that we forget sadakat, and pay the majority of our attention to the zakat al-fitr. Allah does want us to do more. He says to loan unto him a beautiful loan, and he will multiply it many times. Masha Allah. I would gladly give whatever money I have. I remember a hadith about Hadrat Aisha, and how she would have holes in her clothes, but still give her last coin away in charity to the poor. SubhanAllah. Peace brother.

A society can flourish only when its members do not spend all their wealth to fulfil their own desires but reserve a portion of it for parents, relatives, neighbors, the poor and the debilitated. As the saying goes: Charity begins at home. A true believer is thus always prepared, after meeting the needs of his family, to assist other people in need of his help.
The spirit of helping others to earn God's pleasure is best reflected in Muslim society in the field of education. The greatest charity for a Muslim is to learn something and then teach it to other Muslims in large numbers. Thus Muslims have devoted themselves to other's education generation after generation. Knowledge is the most wonderful thing in the whole universe. That is why there is nothing greater then knowledge being imparted by one human being to another. Muslims on a large scale have engaged themselves in receiving education and imparting it to others, individually as well as by establishing maktabs and madrasas, that is, primary schools and Colleges. These educational institutions established in the house of the teachers or in separate buildings, generally made no charges for instruction. During the medieval period, these madrasas flourished in tens of thousands throughout the Muslim world. The wealthy people helped in running these madrasas, not only though Zakah, but also by making endowments (wakf), of their properties as these madrasas. The income from these properties met the needs of these schools. The orphans and poor people were given stipends over and above free board and lodging. (Maulana Wahiduddin Khan)

Dear brother, I know about those and I have plans to spend a portion of my wealth in Islam recommended ways. But right now I am not financially stable, pretty much getting by, working day and night, couldn't even start studying. When, Insha-Allah, I overcome all these , I'll help people and the society.

Yes! We give the annual 2.5% as well as we have helped children in their studies, assisted some friends who needed money, and we usually give to the local masjid regularly. As for charities and orphanages we usually give to them personally rather than going to a specific affiliated group as they can be undependable.

The monarchies with state run churches that we (America) have given billions of dollars to each year for oil surely have not done anything worth while with the immense wealth we have given them. Gold-plated AK-47's? Massive pleasure palaces? Huge differences between rich and poor? Why do these people accept that their rulers are so corrupt while they wallow in filth? They should revolt and over-throw their shallow, sin-ful masters.
