Good first part of your question. If they don't believe then why judge or blame? It seems they would be blaming and judging something they don't even believe and/ or think exists. Simple example--If I don't believe the New York Mets exist how could I ridicule their poor play?Yo easily, people take credit for anything good that becomes them but blame God for the bad. Why is that?

Do you judge and blame Zeus? Or the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Or the Tooth Fairy?
Come on. Use that brain that you think God gave you, and recognized that you are committing a horrible logical fallacy. We don't judge "god" any more than you judge Zeus. What we actually do is judge people like you who have made an emotional decision to believe in something for which there is no evidence.

First, you're under the assumption that god exists.
Second, god did not create me, my parents did.
Third, we are animals. Bipedal mammals. We just happen to have parts of the brain that other animals don't have. However, if you look at dolphins, whales, chimps and other animals you might find that they are just as intelligent as we are.
I don't respect nor blame god as I don't believe in god's existence. So, I am not waging a war against god, either. I do, however, hold a grudge against fundies like you that spout ignorance and drivel that clearly peppers your question.
EDIT: I don't say this often so you should be honoured.. YOU ARE AN IDIOT. To say non-believers believe in god, but choose not to follow him? Yeah.. Certifiably stupid, you are.

God. *coughs*
Okay. Here's a little word I hear everytime I see a question about why god doesn't do this that or the other thing. Two words actually. Free Will. Yeah. Got that? Good.
If your god wants respect from me, he's got to show respect to me in the first place, he's got to respect my decisions and my beliefs and understand that I'm not following him and it is likely the fault of his followers for twisting his so called words and trying to cram them down my throat.
I do show respect to your god though, I show him respect by outright saying I refuse to follow him, instead of following him with questions and hatred in my heart. You know those friends who just hung around you because they wanted something from you? They don't respect you, they don't love you an the first chance they get they'll leave you. I'd rather tell your god the truth than lie to him and that is a sign of respect whether you want to accept it as such or not.

Who should be blamed ...... for what? The rain falls equally on the just and the unjust. It's not about judgement or blame at all. Think: the word of God is also written in your heart. Can you hear the song of your heart when you are tied up in judgemental thinking? Many Christians are using the idea of war and battle as their primary metaphore. That is not the way. Forgive the sinners, and leave them in God's care. They, too, are his creation, and ultimately his responsibility.

If you're talking about humans blaming God, well let me tell you , God does not need anyone ( not even Christians ) to defend Him.
God is not shocked , nor can He ever be taken by surprise by what humans are capable of saying or doing.
You and me can reply to anyone who ask questions or challenge the Christian faith , but let's not see it as trying to defend God. God does not need our help, if I understand who God is.
So let ppl continue to blame God for anything under the sun they can think of . If we can give an answer or explanation , let's just speak our peace , but my stand is to leave it alone after you've spoken.
If anyone disagrees, let it be. This is MY stand. I'm not forcing anyone to agree with me. They are free to disagree. I will still accept them and love them. God is like that. God never forces us to believe Him and so Christians must also not try and force anyone to believe.
I think that is a more acceptable approach than to condemn and call each other names and so on.
2 Tim 2:22 - 26 says, and I believe it will answer your question:
" Now flee from youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they produce quarrels.
And the Lord's bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentlness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will."
This advice is taken straight from the Bible. Christians would do well to adhere to it.

Blah Blah Blah, if you keep leaning so hard on that jesuscrutch you're gonna break it. Religious fanatics are responsible for more bloodshed and carnage than any nonbeliever. If you want to truly understand just look beyond your edited bible, many scrolls and texts have been found that truly contradict any mainstream view of "GOD". If you actually followed the teaching of your religion you would be bothered by any nonbeliver. And we nonbelivers have this holier than thou crap shoved down our throats everday! People question things! Especially if it means surrendering your whole life to it. But dont question just relax, breath in deep, and give me all your money, God needs a new Caaaar and a youngg male prostitute!!! NUTS The whole lot of you! Searching for black and white in a world of gray, why your whole world falls away!

Do not blame God for anything bad, and, as stated before, do not test God. Humans are not perfect and all sin. Sin brings about bad things.

I don't believe in the Christian perception of God, but I don't judge Him, how could I? We can only see humankind's ideas of God. Whatever he/she/it is, isn't, or has been, we don't know. God can be great in life, but when someone uses their God as a weapon, and uses their religion to feel superior to or to hurt others, I don't believe that it is anything but human idiocy.
