According to my studies,
I found out that there are 3 types of supernatural powers found amongst today's society. Those borne with psychic powers who can see futures / spirits naturally (unlearned - without using mantras, tarot cards, zodiac, astrology, etc!), those who are really close to God (Holy Spirit) - Gift of Prophecy, visions, can distinguish bad and good spirits, etc [evidence shown in lots of charismatic, spirit-filled church], and witchcraft (learned power- using voodoos, mantras, meditations, tarot cards, zodiac, etc - most use witchcraft to inflict pain on others - so its associated with bad spirits)

There are thin lines between being psychic, have gift from God, and being a witch. Cuz all of them can basically do the same thing - but maybe different source. i dunno.

What do you guys think?-

It so easy to forget the QURAN in this busy world , but Insha'Allah with the help of this programm it won't be hard and it's never to late brothers & sisters to learn again Or even perfect your recitation of the QURAN*

Full part 30th (Juz 'Amma) of The Noble Quran in Arabic Quranic text with english translation by Abdullah Yusuf Ali.

The Arabic Quranic text is synchronized with the recitation performed by Syaikh Ali Abdurrahman Al-Hudzaifi who recites the Quran slowly with the correct Tajweed.

Theoligans noticed that the term "borne again" was "wrongly" (who knows..?) translated and it should read "borne from above". I cant remember in which gospel Jesus mention this phrase tho.

What implication, if any, do you think this has to "borne again christians"?

We know Mohammad did not, neither did Buddha who only promised "enlightenment" and even rejected God. Who else dared promise it if He was not God ?

So why do christians/creationist find it so hard to believe that evolution took place. God simply commanded the earth to produce and it did.

So what if it took millions of years? Those years passed by God in a blink of an eye.

The bible said we were created by God-self. So why why do you think that evolution means tha humans evolved from apes? We were created directly by God not through the earth.

And doesn't the fact that microbes, germs, etc keep evolving, proves that evolution did occur?

If not then why are there dinosaur bones? Why didn't Noah take them on the ark too?

THAT HE/SHE WILL PUNISH YOU?

EXAMPLE: "i won't ever cheat on another test again"...and then you cheat again.

i'm doing a paper for my religion class....i need opinions...

i think that he/she won't punish you...but it's like you're punishing yourself by cheating...i guess it also depends on how religous you are.

Science is defined as “the observation, identification, description, experimental investigation, and theoretical explanation of phenomena.” Science is a method that mankind can use to gain a greater understanding of the natural universe. It is a search for knowledge through observation and guesswork. Advances in science demonstrate the reach of human logic and imagination. However, a Christian’s belief in science should never be like our belief in God. A Christian can have faith in God and respect for science, as long as we remember which is perfect, and which is not.

Do you agree.

how about their understanding of the REAL meaning of what's written there? have they ever thought of doubting their capacity to understand it? and if they did, have they ever studied further to strengthen their beliefs that their understanding is correct?

an Australian cricket commentator called one of our,South African, cricket player a "terrorist", becoz he was a muslim with a beard. He said "the terrorist got another one", something like that when Hashim Amla(the player) caught the ball. The commentator also said that the statement was not meant to be heard on live TV

What do you think of his comment?Do you think that his apologies were sincere if he said it was not meant to be heard on TV?

I personally don't buy the god thing, makes no sense at all to me, but whatever...

My concern here is this:

Why is virtually every religous person I've met in my life (been all over the world) a stupid, mean, arrogant biggot that wants to torture and kill everyone who doesn't think that Jack climed a bean stalk. Was that a bible story?.. Matters not, makes as much sense as any of them.
