I mean, the lack of religion or the belief that there is no God, is a religion...or more like a belief or faith. Even if we knew 10% of what is in the universe or knowledge in general, the other 90% could allow for the existence of God. Unless you know 100% of all knowledge, how can you say, with any credibility that there is no God? If you make a decision with God in mind, you make a religious decision....if you make a decision without God in mind you are still making a faith-based decision since it takes faith not to believe that there is a God.

How some people bash one religion when something bad happens. Then they totally forget that the same thing used to/still happen in their own religion.

Don't you think its just stupid?

Christian being anyone who loves and accepts Christ as their Lord and Savior and has only one GOD! Why do we celebrate Halloween and do you? Me personally I dont celebrate and enjoy anything that is not of GOD and that's all. I dont tell others anything other than I dont do Halloween, I do Thanksgiving and Christmas but not Halloween. My kids dont dress up for Halloween unless like at church for Halelluliah Night but their costumes are like coyboys or dress like old people, etc.

My friend has recently joined a church and her "soul leader" wants to meet me.

I have attended a Protestant church all my life and have never heard of this term.

My friends and I are lead to believe that this church is a cult of some sort because:

1. It is based in a High School
2. She was baptised in a backyard pool
3. It takes up an entire Sunday and lots of days during the week.
4. She was "brainwashed" in a week or two.
5. They don't believe in religion as such; they refer to Satan as the enemy (never heard of that before) and they don't exactly believe in God as such,

Is it a cult or do they just go about it the wrong way?

Someone explain?

satan wants us to disobey and sin..... right?
then when we do he should be pleased...... why would he want to punish us for doing what pleases him.
satan is the ruler of hell then he is in control not god.......right?
he should be pleased with our sinful ways and want to reward us...
why do people think he will punish us?
