It appears you are right. Jesus baptized with spirit and with fire, but it appears most christians have not accepted jesus instead they just baptize with water.most deny "Christ in them", still say they are sinners,if i were wrong about this they would know; "God dwells within you as you". I only speak of appearance, what they are is between themselves and God. There are many living saints today who baptize with spirit and with fire. see syda.org "the guru, gurumayi chidvilasananda"

To me spirituality and religion are just words to convey a meaning. One does not know what that meaning is for another, and how it is applied, so therefore anything that places limitations or judgements on how an individual receives the divinity of god, can yet be spiritual, and religious barbwire.
Whether that is christianity, buddhism, atheism, or any other belief structure it does not matter. What matters is how the person subjectively experiences who god is, and if he projects that onto others, as being the only way.
I wish you well.

Absolutely fascinating how so many of the Christians answering here have used a narrow definition of spirituality, as if including the Holy Spirit in the trinity makes them spiritual.

I could claim as much, and be similarly semantically justified, if I took up drinking hard liquor.

I cannot believe how everyone is so quick to put down Christians. If you are a person of spirituality, you are a kind and considerate person who cares for everyone and everything on this beautiful earth we live on. Not a crass and critical individual that has NOTHING better to do than put others down to make yourself feel better. Spirituality has nothing to do with any one specific religion but encompasses them all as in a state of peace and kindness. Stop bashing one another. No one is better than anyone other person. You all know it deep down inside, can't figure out that old saying "misery loves company" but i see it here constantly. What gives? Make you feel good to put others down, do you feel like a strong person when you make someone cry? You tend to judge one entire group of people over one person you met and disliked is that not being a hypocrite? Don't categorize its not fair, its judgmental and it just plain sucks!! God Bless!

Yes they are not related. A deeply spiritual person who thirsts for the true meaning of his existence and to find some connection with an all pervading creative force or supreme being need not be Christian or Muslim or a member of any organised religion.

Christianity consists of Christians who are normal people, except that they have confessed Jesus Christ Lord of their life and are reborn spiritually. They are very spiritual and are renewed in the spirit from time to time.

Also once reborn spiritually, can pray to God 24/7 in spirit and truth.

As far as spirits not related to God & Jesus Christ? The devil & his angels / messengers.

there is Love of Lord and guided by Spirit , Jesus Christ when He was baptized by John the Baptist , a spirit like dove landed upon the Lord Jesus, and it was heard a eternal voice "He is My Beloved son, I love Him" ,

Well, I just think most CHRISTIANS have nothing to do with spirituality, they just carry out their traditions without ever thinking about the meaning. But christianity itself startet out as spiritual, of course, like any other religion that turned into a worldly institution.
