An interesting take on the "worship without sacrifice." I had assumed it meant if you worship a God without working to help the world, it would lead to violence. I'll have to follow up on that later.

I could come up with another one
Intelligence without purpose
(The shame is that people do not learn from these observations)

What comes to my mind is that he was a pie in the sky idealist. None of those things are the cause of violence. The cause of violence is a wicked and sinful heart. Some of those issues might stir up such a heart but none of them are the root cause.
Also, some of them don't make much sense even as a contributing factor. "Wealth without work". What does that have to do with violence unless people are jealous which is a sin.
Pleasure without conscience? What does that mean that someone has a good time and doesn't consider their neighbor? Once again the problem is sin.

I wavered over science without humanity because the job of science is to reveal facts not worry about their implications but I suppose scientists do have some moral responsibility.

People just do not care about each other and they will do anything to get the things they want in life without working hard for it.

I see all the words on the right in one big pile representing the qualities I miss in others right here, right now, when I wonder what it would take for people to JUST GET ALONG, just be nice to each other.

It makes me afraid. Not because Gandhi said it but because i can think of an example in our gov. and populace for each example. I fear for mankind and the road we are traveling further down everyday. On the road we are walking right now these example are becoming more the norm rather than the exception. Peace to you.

I would include:
Belief without reason.
I would take out "Worship without sacrifice", since sacrifice is violence. Worshipping, in general, promotes violence because it gives authorities undue control.

Gandhi, was a great social reformer & spiritual leader for his country, and the world took notice of how he took stands to change the social status of his fellow countrymen & the world. He was teaching responsibility & accountable for ones actions, individually & as a country. He was willing to die for his beliefs. He reminds me of another one who preached non-violence,forgiveness, worship, politics etc.. He did die for us to have life eternal. His name was Jesus.
They did not listen then, they do not listen now.
