Say this prayer:

And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, Oh that thou wouldest richly bless me, and enlarge my border, and that thy hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God brought about what he had requested.

In Genesis a woman named Dinah is raped. Two of her brothers go into the town where it happened, and they killed all the men in that town. That is a sort of, I don't know, psycho serial killer thing.

Did God ever punish those two brothers? According to the story, they lost their blessing.

So, according to Bible teachings, is the punishment for murder that I will lose my blessing?

Anywhere does the Bible say slavery is wrong? Leviticus 25:44-45, Exodus 20:21-22?

Bible says eating shrimp is wrong, Leviticus 11:9-12

Do we really want to do the moral thing based on the Bible

The first book ever written was the Bible and everything in the Bible is coming or already came to pass. Most religions is somewhat of an offset of the Bible and Christianity is a faith baised on the Bible and God said no man would ever be found worthy bases strictly on the laws given within. Don't people find it funny how Dead Accurate the Bible is and still choose to follow the lies of Satan and his deceptions when in the end he will be defeated... Dont we find it funny that the profecies of Ezeikel are coming to pass and how the stage is coming into play. Dont we all find it funny how there came be only two posiable religion of Chrisitanity and Islam; because evolutionism and athiest conterdicts themselves and the others are idol worshipers. Don't you find it funny that all if Abraham only had that one son Islam would never exist? Well I dont because we have the truth but reather face it we reather deny it but the Revelation is coming there is still hope in Jesus Christ God Bless

For example, if I ask why does God make child slavery permissible in Leviticus 25:45, is this a right question or a wrong question.

What is the criteria, does it make a difference that I am an Atheist, couldn't a Christian ask the same question?

Daniel said hell is aborhance separated from God forever in torment (Daniel 12vs2)

Jesus said its gnashing teeth and torment forever (Revelation 19-22nd chapters-about heavens joy too)

Jesus said we go there for rejecting his word and salvation -John 12vs48 He that rejecteth my words shall be judged by my words in the last day (being born again -John 3 to the Jewish rabbi-spoken)

read up please or dont-yet if you jump off a 20 story building and think you will be fine-will you be fine?

Seeing as the mechanism thats supposed to drive evolution is 'survival of the fittest', why do we have a conscience?(why do we say murder is wrong) also why do we have an appreciation for art and music etc? And what about love? is it just an illusion designed to keep mating couples together? Serious answers please

I have asked people this question many times. I think I need to ask it differently. I am Muslim. I live in California. I pray sometimes when my family needs it. I do good in school. I have a lot of friends. But I have lost some because I told them I follow Islam. Adults I don't even know say they hate me. I don't hate Jewish people. I'm Palestinian too. Then why do people hate me just because I believe in Allah. I'm not a crazy extremist suicide bomber. So answer this politely. Why do people hate Muslims?! If you do, that means you hate me for some odd reason.

Why do some people have so much trouble fathoming their own potential?

that is, some people have spiritual "gifts"... abilitys, ect. some do not.

why do so many that do not, beliver in religion or not... have *SO* much trouble fathoming that some people might be able to perceive something, and it be totally real, that they are unable to percieve?

I mean I admit it would be kinda scary.... but I would think the potential of understanding would make it worthwhile.

sometimes it feels like I'm a regular guy, walking into a village of natives somewhere totally separated from the rest of the world, that happens to have a village wide, genetic fluke that makes it so *NOBODY* in the village has been born with (functional) eyes for as long as anyone can remember.

I know it'd be hard for them to concive of color... of sight... but would it be SO absolutely impossible to conceive that they'd defy it existing, absolutely, simply because they have no concept of it?

For example, I'm an atheist, is this question really "forceing my belief" on anyone?

People are going to believe what they are anyway and yahoo answers probably isn't a place where a change of mind will occur.

As a young adult,I'd have bouts where I'd go regularly(6 months-each Sunday and was an usher and I enjoyed it) then I'd get lazy and not go for months on end.I definitely believe in God,but what's wrong with me? Why can't I go faithfully each Sunday on a continuous basis like so many other people? This has concerned me for quite some time...
