For example, if I ask why does God make child slavery permissible in Leviticus 25:45, is this a right question or a wrong question.

What is the criteria, does it make a difference that I am an Atheist, couldn't a Christian ask the same question?

The criteria is nothing set. It all depends on the person and their own viewpoint. What I would think is a perfectly reasonable question someone from another belief system may not. What is valid and what isn't is in the eye of the beholder.

I feel we should determine whether a question is right or wrong according to a country's custom and their religious upbringing, as long as they keep their beliefs where they originate. We don't have to feel we can change the world in every aspect. That just isn't going to happen.
We have the right to question, but we shouldn't judge.

Criteria are flexible boundaries... You can ask any question. Dont expect though you'll be all the time answered. Then, there is no such right or wrong question. Questions can be silly or clever for example...

Hi,
Just answered this question what? about 7 hours ago...
=) Have you read the scriptures with the verse as well?
Go fo it. read verse 35.
35)And thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee, then thou shalt RELIEVE HIM, yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner, that he MAY LIVE WITH THEE.
and so forth...
GET IT?
This person/family WOULD DIE WITHOUT ASSISTANCE.
THE PERSON/FAMILY than is "obligated" to at least "work" for the person that saved thier live, by living with/helping them for a PERIOD OF TIME. IN WHICH AFTEDRWORDS...WOULD BE COMPLETELY FREED UP/DEBT PAID IN FULL.

So......your question is fine to ask, however researching dilligently is helpful also. =]
*The word of God is full of power.
The comprehension behind its pages does require something additional than what man would normally approach a piece of literature with. The scriptures provide in detail....scientific and archiological, historical facty and phenom that are unserpassed by anything that exists that was man made only.
I am a christian BECAUSE OF THE WORD OF GOD, IF IT WAS NOT 100% ACCURATE-I WOULD NOT >CHOOSE< TO LIVE BY LIFE ACCORDING TO ITS PAGES.
-LIVE4TRUTH=] TAKE CARE. YOU ARE LOVED, THOUGH GREATLY.
