I genuinly think that evil for like 70% is drawn directly from religion, and im an athiest and i can't figure out how people can kill another person for the sake of a imaginary friend, i mean in islam women can be lashed 100 times for walking around with a man that isn't a direct relative, and they assume they've had premarital sex, and if your gay there, they were sentenced to death by being crushed by a stone wall, i don't know if they've stopped that yet. But its not like its just muslims etc, christians have groups like WBC, that have the slogan "god hates fags", its sickening, and people often pose the point that religion makes people be good, but it only works towards peolpe of ame religion, and if we didnt have religion we hae the natural instinct of morales and conscience.
But yeah it's messed up.
what you guys think, christians, jews, muslims, athiests........
peace,
tomyu

Christians seem to use the Bible like its open to interpretation instead of reading it and doing Gods will ie to care and help the poor of our society. No using the Bible to cop out of the question!

have my school accredited by a govenment recognized agency then would that school be a diploma mill? Especially if the school couldn't afford the high cost of being accredited. Or just prefer not to have any dealings with the government than absolutely necessary?

Is the sense of an afterlife 'in built'? Is it nature's trick of making us cope with death? Or is it purely natural because it is true? Do we believe things because we are told to believe them or because we instinctively know it to be a part of the natural order of things?

We all know people like this, in person and in this forum. What do you think it is that makes a person commit an offense and then avoid taking any responsibility for their actions?

What are these people lacking in their upbringing or personalities?

Elaborate if you will please. Thank you.

I never expected that! He also said I need to send my twin 12 year old boys to him for private counseling on a weekly basis if they are to have any chance of avoiding hell. I don't want to do that - I already sent one of them to my priest, and my son said the priest kept nattering on about wanting to "enter his temple." However, I also don't want to be roasted for all eternity, please help me, is there anything I can to to atone?

where unbaptised babies go when they die? Are they going to roll dice for the answer or pray for God to give them a sign? Absurd or logical? What do you think?

http://www.suntimes.com/news/nation/87808,CST-NWS-limbo08.article

VATICAN CITY -- Vatican theologians are leaning toward revising centuries-old teaching that babies who die without baptism go to limbo instead of heaven.
''All of us have hope for the babies'' that they will go to heaven, under the revised thinking on limbo, said the Rev. Luis Ladaria, a Jesuit who is secretary-general of the Vatican's International Theological Commission.

No formal Catholic doctrine - The commission, which advises the pope, has spent the week debating limbo in view of preparing a document. Although Catholics have long believed that children who die without being baptized still have original sin and are thus excluded from heaven, the church has no formal doctrine on the matter.
