Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God. Like Peter said. Christians have confessed Yeshua Messiah is Yahweh. They also believe in their heart (heart faith) in the atonement & resurrection.

If you mean whether he subscribes to the so called "Christian" dogma, then the answer is NO.

If you are interested in the true teachings of Christ, perhaps you could click on "Rational Spirituality" on the Dhaem website.

Christ was spiritual, not religious, and he did not found any religion. Understanding his true teachings, I would say that he would have been very concerned to be associated with a specific religion. Religions are political doctrines the aim of which it is to manipulate the masses.

Jesus Christ was a teacher who lead his followers by his own example, not a manipulator exploiting other people's faith in him.

I love this question - no -
Jesus was against the religious heirarchy all the way, constantly argued with the priests for their rigidity with the rules, did not judge those considered sinners, etc.
His message was we only have to love, closest example I can give is the hippie concept - not follow other peoples outworn and unresearched ideas. christianity has become so shame based I cannot follow it though i would like to. It brings up guilt and shame in me when I try to be perfect every day and fail miserably by the afternoon. therfore I cannot believe that is what Jesus was preaching.

I think christianity was ruined when Paul- who never knew Jesus ,added his antipathy for sexual matters and started telling the christians rules from his personal belief system.

Jesus was Jewish. The Jewish ppl were looking for their "Messiah". Messiah was a term only the Jewish were anticipating at Jesus's arrival. Other words for "Messiah" are: "Christ", "Savior", & "Redeemer". Christ was favored by the Jewish & non-Jewish (Gentiles) by the time the Jewish temple was destroyed (70 AD).

So Jesus was the anticipated "Christ" to come and save the Jewish ppl as promised by God to King David. Yes, "Christ" was anticipated in Jesus' time among many Jewish ppl.

The term Christian was given to the followers of Christ. He is the leader, not the follower.
