most prophets weren't reconised as a so called prophets until AFTER their death.with govenments in control of religions should we trust their choice,when its obvious the only use religion is to a govenment is control.am i right,can an ancient goverments choice be trusted in this day when they were chosen for control

The main reason prophets were killed was because what they said in God's name, turned out to be all too true.
So far as politicians are concerned, there's still only one absolute. If their lips are moving, they must be telling a fib.

No! It was God who called them to prophecy...He still calls pastors to be pastors too....
