I have asked people this question many times. I think I need to ask it differently. I am Muslim. I live in California. I pray sometimes when my family needs it. I do good in school. I have a lot of friends. But I have lost some because I told them I follow Islam. Adults I don't even know say they hate me. I don't hate Jewish people. I'm Palestinian too. Then why do people hate me just because I believe in Allah. I'm not a crazy extremist suicide bomber. So answer this politely. Why do people hate Muslims?! If you do, that means you hate me for some odd reason.

well..i don't hate muslims..and I am Christian...i know some people when they know muslims they tend to discriminate and hate them because of these terrorists..they are muslims and all that stuff..but I think it shoudn't be the case because I know people are different..there are the good and the bad..that's a fact in the world..it doesn't mean that you're muslim you're already bad..and if you're a christian you're good..i mean there good and bad muslims and christians..I know and I've been friends with some muslims and they are very nice, friendly people..just like everybody else..so it'd be unfair to the good muslims to think bad about them just because of these terrorists..not all people are the same...we're all one..muslims, christians, whatnot..we're all people and human beings...God or Allah is just One...it's like God is Allah in Islam and the Bible is Koran in Islam...but we can't blame it..in this world..there are just people who are judgemental and discriminating in nature...like whatever you do..whoever you are they just can't and don't seem to understand..

It is not that a lot of peoples hate Muslims, it is because the Muslim communities did not openly criticize the terrorism acts that misled the world in believing that Islam supported those acts.
If Islam authorities feel that the terrorists have mis-interpret Islam teachings, why is there no fatwa being issued to let the Muslim communities know that such acts are not allow.

Well, I don't totally understand, but I don't have to, to know "this." A lot of people are ignorant and lazy. They figure because they don't know about a persons culture, they must be bad. And rather than ask, or look "into" that culture, or except it, they think it's easier just to hate them or be mean to them. But the truth is, it takes more energy to hate & be negative. They follow others just like them so they can condone their behavior. So it's best simply to pitty these people, than to let it bother you. I was raised
Babtist, and there are people who put "me" down for it. But I can't care enough to care. I figure as long as I know I'm a good person, I don't intentionally hurt anyone, and I believe in God, my conscience is clear and that's what matters most. We'll just "let" these people be ignorant. They are jealous because "they" don't carry peace in their heart as we do, and I'm not going to change "my" beliefs to make "them" happy. Okay? Have a nice day.

I am sorry for you RooRoo. The problem is that people that talk too much about democracy and eliminating racism, actually have a problem with it deep inside. You are living in a place where people pretend to be just, freedom lovers and democrats, but they are really not so.
I wish you will not get hurt by people anymore, but let me tell you did not lose friends, they lost you and I hope one day they'll open their sleepy eyes and see that they don't follow their own beliefs and they will realize that one bad person who happen to be a Muslim does not mean that all Muslims are terrorists... the same goes for Christians and for Jews.

Those people are hypocrites then. I am a Christian, I may be straight forward and come on too strong at times but that does not mean I hate a person just because he/she believes different from what I believe.

People in this country are dehumanizing Muslims, so that it is easier to kill terrorists. It is a sad way of dealing with a personal issue. I am terribly sorry for your loss, and hope that you will not change your beliefs, regardless of whether I or anyone else shares them. I do not hate you. I do not hate anyone.

Everyone who hates, hates you for the same reasons. Its easy to hate and not look at the individual but i am sorry to say that if you think that this is going to go away you are wrong. because of what those sorry *** individuals did you are about to be punished for it. Before 911 i am sure no one looked twice at Muslims but now a great majority are angry with your culture and its people. I am sorry that you have to suffer for this and i agree that its not right but the reality is for you...that is just the way it is.

"Guilt by association". Most people don't often see or hear the GOD loving, humble muslim, what is in most peoples face all the time now is those who appear to be insane with anger by our standards. and other muslims supporting those who kill innocent people. and silent muslims do not condemn those who would kill all "infidels". People fear what they do not understand, fear turns to anger, anger to hate, hate then turns to insanity and the insane try to destroy what they fear. UNCONDITIONAL LOVE IS THE KEY TO THIS PROBLEM. when hate & hostility come at you, accknowledge it as MISGUIDED LOVE, pray for them with LOVE that they may find GODS LOVE.

You may find this hard to believe, but Jews don't like getting blown up and being made to live in fear all the time.

I would love to answer your question but, unfortunately, Yahoo won't allow it. They will send a violation e-mail. So much for freedom of speech!
