If the religious right wingers are so pro-life why do they love the idea of thousands of young Americans being butchered in Iraq?

Furthermore, why do they have orgasms everytime an innocent Iraqi or Palastinian or Lebanese child is blown to bits by American manufactured cluster bomb? Why do they thrill at the thousands upon thousands of innocent civilains of these nations that have been blown to smithereens by the Israelis and Americans?

Why do they tremble, in delight, at the thought of capitol punishment? Don't they know that more than half of the people who have been put to their deaths in America because of their approval of capitol punishment were innocent people?

Get thee behind me thou nation of hypocrates, vipers, and blind followers of Satan ! ! !

I haven't sought out anyone in this forum to 'preach' to or attack, I have condemned no 'faith', I have only tried to reason from faith, the Bible, and understanding of other documentable extra-Biblical sources. Soooooo..........

If YOUR belief system says the Bible is a 'book of fairytales', why try so desperately to discredit it with uncontextual quotes, twisting overlays, and comparing things out of historical context or of different meanings due to archaic language? So many people have tried to do these things in the last 2000 years, and the only thing they've proved is that believing Christians are not nearly as stupid as some think they are. Why continue to flog a horse that's been dead for 2 millenia?

lately I've been having lots of experiences with demons and some ghosts that live in my house. I feel like I really understand them. yes, they lie, and try to manipulate people, because they take pleasure in that sort of thing, and they also have powers that cannot be explained by science. Basically, I would like to become a demon or ghost myself. How do people go about doing this?

According to bible, is there any study on the number of people killed by God before Jesus was born? If Jesus is the only way that our sin can be forgiven, doesn't it mean that God does NOT love those people killed by Him?

This is a e-mail sent to me from my grandmother.

I'll bet this was a surprise to NBC.."Do you believe in
>God?" NBC this morning had a poll on this question. They had the
>highest number of responses that they have ever had for one of their
>polls, and the percentage was:
>86% to keep the words, IN God We Trust and God in the
>Pledge of Allegiance, 14% against.
>
>That is a pretty commanding' public response.
>
>I was asked to send this on if I agreed or delete if I
>didn't.
>Now it is your turn ... It is said that 86% of Americans
>believe in God.
>Therefore, I have a very hard time understanding why
>there is such a mess about having "In God We Trust" on our money
>and
>having " God" in the Pledge of Allegiance.
>
>Why is the world catering to this 14%?
>
> AMEN!
>
>If you agree, pass this on, if not, simply delete.
>In God We Trust

Answer the question asked.....

Is it very important, somewhat important, not too important, or not at all important...
This question was raised by an international public opinion survey conducted 4 years ago whose aim was to measure the impact of globalization, modernization, rapid technological and cultural change and the September 11 terrorist events on the values and attitudes of more than 38,000 people in 44 countries worldwide. The statistics extracted from the survey report www.people-press org reveal that more and more people are losing interest in RELIGION.
CURIOUS to know your opinion.

I've seen a lot of chrstian rock bands that have "tats". So, my question is, does it specifically state that you shouldn't get a tattoo? Or is that just christians overexplaining the "keep your body pure and holy"? I mean, does it actually say that you can't paint your body? I know some christians, exspecially in my church, like to take verses and make them more than they are.

I was recently reading about the part of the bible where it says that a womans hair is her glory..thats cool I have extremely long hair!! woo!
But I also noticed some other things about stoning women who didnt bleed on their wedding nights to death! because they were believed to not be virigins..and a few others saying somthing like no one of illegitimate birth may enter the congregation of the lord. Now,That counts me out..and my daughter. I also saw one saying woman werent allowed to speak in church!!You can say "oh that was written for THAT time period" but why are we able to pick and choose which ones...we ignore like that. if you really live by the bible then shouldnt you follow everything it says? I only ask this cuz I'm confused..not to start arguments. so the bible changes with the times...but was that REALLY gods word to stone people to death or that people born to parents who arent married arent allowed in his church? once again no disrespect intended!
