Where in the United States law or Constitution does it say it is legal for me to collect donations for my church?

why not your church does it so u should be able to...wut u gonna do with the $$$?.....buy drugs with it?

Donations to charitable organizations have to be reported so that the organization (church in this case) remains tax exempt. Some agencies will give receipts in order to support a tax exemption for the donor. So it is legal for you to accept donations for your church, however, you must represent the church in a formal setting and be willing to give receipts with the church's permission for said donations.

See if there are any moms and dads who're attorneys and commence the technique of suing the museum. that's a misrepresentation of all you good efforts and dirtied your faculties good call. You were taken and now you want to wrestle again legally. Get the money again and donate it to the interior reach zoo or some thing else that wont defraud you!

What's wrong with a "DONATION" ? When I hear the word donation I think that it is what it is. It's not like your obligated it's just something done out of a good heart.

You can take up donations for your grandmother if you want. Where does it say it is NOT legal.

How could it be illegal? As long as you tally up how much has been donated and all the money actually makes it into the chruch bank, I don't see any harm in it.

Depends what the donations are for. As far as where is it illegal? Never heard of any place where it is illegal.
