I haven't sought out anyone in this forum to 'preach' to or attack, I have condemned no 'faith', I have only tried to reason from faith, the Bible, and understanding of other documentable extra-Biblical sources. Soooooo..........

If YOUR belief system says the Bible is a 'book of fairytales', why try so desperately to discredit it with uncontextual quotes, twisting overlays, and comparing things out of historical context or of different meanings due to archaic language? So many people have tried to do these things in the last 2000 years, and the only thing they've proved is that believing Christians are not nearly as stupid as some think they are. Why continue to flog a horse that's been dead for 2 millenia?

For Bula'ia Aratyme - In 1Kings the writer is numbering the horses; in 2Chronicles, the writer is numbering the stalls at the palace. 1KIngs "..stalls of horses..."; 2Chronicles "...stalls FOR horses...". Pretty plain.

The point of it is that there is always someone out there quietly reading these posts. And perhaps learning something.
I don't care about what others may or may not think about Christians. We all have one Judge and He's not these people here on Yahoo Answers.

It's a very good question! And there are many who ask "only Christians answer this" or "only Jehovah's Witnesses answer this" or "why does the Bible say..", but then they choose as "best answer" the reply given by someone who is tearing down or defaming. Be assured that these ones are undoubtedly living a debauched life and hope to have the Bible and religious people look as if it's all fanciful and unrealistic, and in doing so convince themselves there is no-one to be answerable to.

It is not unusual for people who do not believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God to twist passages and use things out of context. Satan himself tried to tempt Jesus using Bible passages out of context.

Amen! Thank you! People ask questions about the Bible or Christianity and then they try to discredit your Biblical answer. It doesn't make much sense.

Exceptional. I have never understood why so many Atheist frequent this sight. For people who think that God is like the Easter bunny or Santa Claus they sure have a lot of interest in him. With knowledge comes understanding. Thanks for helping people to understand.

To try to punch wholes in it. If you can ask the right questions you can change a persons view. Just personal observation on the matter.

I think because they want to hear: "You are right, I am stupid for believing. Thank you for showing me the error of my ways"
