I'm so glad that Jesus lifted me!

2006-09-23 10:10:14 · 15 answers · asked by blondeoneseeking 1

I read all these answers about people wanting to go to heaven some how by another way than Jesus.. WHY??
In heaven Jesus will rule as a King and dictator (if you will) if you don't want to live as a christian here then why go to heaven where you will have to live that way??
In heaven we will voluntarily (as we already have on earth) submit to God and his rule over us. I don't think that most of those here really want to go to heaven.. If you do tell me why?/

People kill and do bad things from all religions and races, the terrorists DO NOT represent Islam. No one has the right to judge people except God.

Yes,in Islam if any man repent of his decision of Divore to his wife and want to marry her again .Not so simple ,first he must become a Pimp and let his ex-wife sleep with some other man then that One Night Husband divorce her ,then and only then he can marry her.Muslim say this is punishment of his decision. What a vulgarity. When two mature people want to patch up their differences and unite ,they must follow this obsurd practice.

But here is the catch:

Muslim has a hell for infidels
Christian too has a hell for those who accept Christ as saviour.
Atheist also has a hell for people suffering from delusion.

So who is going to heaven?

Please, serious, informed answers only. I consider myself an agnostic. The question is for those who embrace atheism only. Thanks!

I think that it is crazy for Christians to believe that people that are good and lead a life loving and caring for their friends and family and helping people will go to hell (if it exists) for not believeing in god ( if he exists) but believe that if someone who molests children and kills people will go to heaven (if it exists) because that person believes in god and asks for forgiveness or they have been saved. This thinking is irrational and Christians truly believe this but think that to be non-believer is irrational.

If you have sex before marriage, but than the person you had sex with is the person that you got married to, is it still immoral for you to have sex with that person after you married since you had sex with that person before you got married? What are the views on this?????

You see, witchcraft, alcemy, dark magic and all those things are weird. A ouija board creepy. Signs. Haunted homes. Whoa. Anyways please tell me if you've ever had an experience with a spirit or anything of some sort. Must be true. Is it also true that you must NEVER burn a ouija board? Aaaah....

Although, beliefs can be a lot deeper than the labels we think we know, let's pretend they aren't.

Okay, I'm not asking if God exists. I have seen him do some crazy sh!t and I know that he's real.
My question is: Has anyone actually tested the religions out? They can't all be real. There can only be one true religion, at least that's what most religions say.

I've always considered myself Christian but then I realized so far I've only proved to myself that God's real, but I haven't seen any proof that Christianity is real.

I believe we can test out a lot of these religions. If miracles can happen in the Bible they should be able to happen right now. Stuff like having a group of sick people and praying for 1/2 of them and logging what happens; I believe that would be a worthwhile test. Do any of you guys know about a group or something that tests to try to prove/disprove religions?

Didn't God say it was wrong in Leviticus?

I believe that religion needs to be seen as an addictive trait that is spread by hereditary genes much like alcoholism or addictive personalities and that Christians need to get psychological analysis as we see the cancer of their religious ways causing more havoc then good in this world-Their philosophy of "I AM SAVED" is leading to this Earth taking a back seat to their INDIVIDUAL want of going to an imaginary place called heaven that none of them have seen nor can they produce-and it is high time that they are diagnosed as a group of disturbed illusionists. Just because they WANT God to be there 4 them-does not bring result-so they try to discredit their rival by MASS and Mob and by organizing in Churches to SPREAD their disease. What's worse is that if one does not accept their form of addiction than the group as a whole condems this person and history will prove that CHRISTIANITY CAUSES DEATH-MURDER-WAR-and untold amounts of suffering to those who believe Jesus is SATAN-is SANTA!

Should we use the LAW when we Evangelize to reach the concience of people when preaching. Once they understand their sin, is it not then easier to tell them about God's love and grace for those who believe in Jesus Christ who died to pay for our sins? Whatya think folks ???
