I think it would be boring if everyone suddenly decided to convert to my way of thinking. I enjoy challenge and that would end if everyone agreed with me.

Most people only know how to go as deep as the label... and their perception of it.

No.

I am an atheist. Even though I believe the believers are wrong, I value the right to think as an individual too highly to think that I can impose my beliefs on the rest of the world.

Besides, conformity is dull; diversity is more entertaining.

Well, it depens on which religion. I believe that satanism would make the world a worse place. Buddhism, christianity, or Judaism would be great religions for the whole world, but not all of them are right. I see where you are coming from and yes, it would make the world a better place without the religious conflict, but will it happen- no.

God Bless

My beliefs work fine for me. I haven't always been a born-again Christian. There were many years where it was all about me. One day after a lot of searching, I accepted Jesus as my savior.
My life has never been the same. Christianity brings me joy and peace, that I never could find anywhere else. I hope this helps.

Grace and Peace!

Good lord, NO! Much of the Earth's population would commit suicide and the remainder would be an amoral uncontrollable mob. Plus, who would provide all the controversy and angst in the "religion & spitituality" section? Which I do so enjoy.

No, Variety is the spice of life. The world would be better off if we could all accept that each has the right to believe what they want. Agree to disagree if we have to.

Hmmm... My "belief" is free-thought is more important than being right, so I guess I "could" argue that being free to think for yourself is better than any conformity, but would it be "conformity" if everyone thought for themselves, instead of swallowing one doctrine or the other? Dunno. It might be a little less interesting, as free-thinkers would be less likely to bomb each other over imaginary friends.

i think i first need to live my beliefs myself before i can ask others too. but if everyone lived what i think i believe, and what i think god says in his word then the world would be a better place.

I wouldnt say by MY beliefs. I would just say God's ways with religion or without, whatever way gets you closer to God and HIS ways.
