I read all these answers about people wanting to go to heaven some how by another way than Jesus.. WHY??
In heaven Jesus will rule as a King and dictator (if you will) if you don't want to live as a christian here then why go to heaven where you will have to live that way??
In heaven we will voluntarily (as we already have on earth) submit to God and his rule over us. I don't think that most of those here really want to go to heaven.. If you do tell me why?/

Now I see some truthful ones here that know that they do not want to go to heaven. If you are not a Christian then you will not like heaven. If you are then it will be heavenly..

Very few talk about submitting to the authority of Jesus and serving him. The joy of being in his presence and doing his will. Heaven is not about making me happy, but about serving him and being happy doing it..
Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father. I personally will be happy to do that here on earth as well as in heaven.

I am saved and I know I will go to Heaven one day. When I get there I want to see Jesus, and listen to him teach, preach and tell of his life upon the earth. Then after a few million years I want to sit down and talk to King David and hear how he followed God and served him. I want to walk down the streets of Gold with Mary the Mother of Jesus and listen to her tell me what it was like to carry the Saviour of the world. What a day that will be cause it will seem like a day when there.

Something about this world makes me feel that it is NOT my real home.

Every time a disaster happens there is uneasiness that this can't be my true home that I longed to be apart of. Some examples are tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes, if this is it, then I came to the wrong place, not only to mention all of the self- centeredness, selfishness, and poverty.

No love only with Jesus.
No justice only with Jesus.
No peace only with Jesus.
No security only with Jesus.

God have a way of knowing who is sincere and who's not sincere. I take great comfort in knowing that God knows the hearts of people. I won't get stuck in a place that is most likely to happen here on this planet; thus, someone who proclaims to love you, or even like you, but in reality don't have kindness, charity, or goodness in him or her shall be discovered.

So, if there is no Heaven, I can honestly say, earth isn't all that it is cracked up to be, more problems here on earth rather than looking forward to going to Heaven.

Another good question would be 'What will you do if you go to Heaven?'

I heard answers such as "To be with Jesus"

You are right Jesus will reign as king from heavan to earth. As in the "Lords Prayer" "Your Will be done on EARTH as it is in Heaven" I want to be part of the great crowd here on earth when all the wikedness is gone.

Because he is not a dictater, and the fact that I believe what he promises.People can try to work their way, pray thier way, or drink thier way to heaven, but Jesus clearly said in John 14;6 that I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the father but by me. You see, God loved you enough to send his only son to die for you, and there is no greater love than a man to lay his life down for his friends. I will be in heaven, and I will give glory to God now, and when I get there, and I will worship him now, and forever more. Please get saved before it's to late! God loves you!

I want to go to heaven because this life is full of hardships and anxiety....the evil in this world was never meant to be in it...but it is none the less....so I am looking forward to living in a place that will be free from sickness and fear and hurts and pains and evil...a place like God intended for us on earth.....it will be wonderful to live life and experience everyday as we should with joy and peace and love for all..no rejection..no more hate and anger and all the other junk that weighs us down.....even the best of us ...has a bad day and sheds some hate on someone ...somewhere....sometimes.....so I'm heaven bound and I'm looking forward to it....

If you're asking why people would want to spend eternity in the presence of someone who claims to have killed off nearly everyone on Earth in a flood, cursed every generation of humans because two of their ancient ancestors ate fruit from the wrong tree, ordered a select group of Israelites to wage religious war against the Philistines and kill off the entire population of adult men and non-virgin women in the cities they conquered, and razed cities with divine hellfire because the people there didn't worship him, then I wonder the same thing.

The God of the Bible is evil and I want absolutely nothing to do with him.

Umm, yeah... In their current state, Fred Phelps, Dr. Laura, Pat Robertson, and Rush Limbaugh are not going to heaven, no worries there.

I've been told that heaven will be hundreds of times more pleasurable than sex. If that isn't motivation - I don't know what is.

I'd rather be among people who know and feel nothing but love than in this hellhole we call Earth. Once we leave the mortal plain, we will never, ever encounter another hostile being. What bliss. We will still have a lot to do and learn, so it won't be boring.
