it really bothers me when i see people say bad things about my God. but i think it bothers me more to see christians be so hateful to gay people. a lot of people are sending the message that God hates them because of something they feel is the way they were born. their sexual orientation makes sense to them, and the idea that God created them that way, yet rejects them because of it, does not make sense to them. can you blame them for being angry? if this is how they see things, how can we expect to impress upon them the importance of a relationship with God? as a christian, it is my understanding that the most important thing we must ALL do is give our lives to the Lord. until we do this, we are all powerless to change anything about ourselves. if homosexuality is wrong, how can we even ask someone to change when they do not know God? and how will they ever know God, if the ony representation of Him they know, is from people who misrepresent Him?
