...if they ate from the forbidden Tree of Knowledge?

IF thats the case, why did God lie to them? They didnt die. Instead, they were banished from Eden. Instead, it seems, the only one who was truthful to them was the Snake, who told them exactly why God didnt want them to eat from this tree.....
What was God hiding? Why did he lie? And why was the snake so honest?

People do wrong stuff, and when (inevitably) something terrible happens, they all go like "Oh Why, God, Why did you allow this?", the Twin Towers for example, The U. S. is stuck in problems that they have gotten into themselves, and when the tragedy happened, everyone went nuts over why did God allow it.

OK - let me see if I got this straight. The Virgin Mary - the most beloved women in two of the worlds largest religions (Muslim & Christian) is dead and not a single human being knows where she is buried or where her bones lay. Nor do they know this about her son (who is also acknowledged by both religions). Doesn't this strike ANYONE as odd? We have shrines and temples and burial grounds going back before Christ. They even still have markers for dead Roman soldiers! So if they where so famous and so loved by so many back then - then why didn't they build something for us to go and pay tribute or respect too?

How many different angles are there? To all this? Where do we go from here?

Doctor, my eyes have seen the years
And the slow parade of fears
Without crying;
Now I want to understand.
I have done all that I could
To see the evil and the good
Without hiding;
You must help me if you can . . .

Doctor, my eyes—
Tell me what is wrong!
Was I unwise
To leave them open for so long?

'Cause I have wandered through this world
And, as each moment has unfurled,
I've been waiting
To awaken from these dreams.
People go just where they will;
I never noticed them until
I got this feeling
That it's later than it seems . . .

Life tends to be hard and often disappointing. We are all just trying to make contact with other souls and trying to be happy.
Most of us, me anyway, have a hard time trying to define what is happiness for us as it seems to change each time we think we are just about to "find happiness".
I value the soul in another and can be very happy just sitting and listening to a friend prattle on. Beyond the noise of the voice is the heart, the soul, softly reaching out to touch my soul.
Perhaps that is the only happiness we really need?

Why on earth do people think evolution is "chance"?!?! The strongest survive - if you have a trait that is valuable, you will continue to reproduce to pass on that viable trait (for those that don't understand I'll dumb it down: Giraffes. They didn't have long necks all the time, but due to competition for vegetation, the ones with the slightly longer necks survived because they were able to reach places others couldn't. Therefore all the stumpy necked ones died off) This is only ONE example of millions!

"Natural selection is the process by which individual organisms with favorable traits are more likely to survive and reproduce than those with unfavorable traits." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_selection

It is called natural selection not "chance". Tell me why you think it is chance?

You would think that is Muslims and Christians both felt so strongly for this woman, you would know where she was buried. A shrine would be there or something. Well - where is she buried? You have tombs of the Pharoh's of Egypt still around, yet the Virgin Mary the most loved woman by two major relgions can't be found?

Rama was a model son, brother, and husband.
He is considered to be the seventh avatar. or reincarnation of Vishnu. Avatar is someones reincarnation or representation.
The Ramayana is one of the most popular writings for hinduism.
isn't that odd since the most popular holiday for muslims is Ramadon. That name seems to come up in many religions.
Does anyone know of anything that makes this religion special to them. How do they worship in Hinduism?

Lets put one thing straight first.
PURE Science and PURE Religion do not contradict each other
Evolution is a Scientific THEORY it is NOT Pure Science.
God has Created Rules and follows them.
God is Logical he does not contradict himself.
There is only ONE True Religion.

Evolution is a theory that all living creatures evolved from some a common evolutionary ancestor.
Evolution also states that this creature evolved from rocks and rain. the reverse steps are
animals and plants - single celled organism - prehistoric cell and mitocondria and chloroplasts - ooze that contains building blocks of life - rocks and acid rain - lava and gases from volcanoes.
that is what unpure-science claims you evolved from
Evolutionary Theory also is missing too many pieces to make a detailed map or picture. like making a puzzle with only 0.1% to 1% of the pieces. doesn't work period.

and since religion gives the only other alternative i'll have to go with the belief that we ARE created by God.
after all how does a quatinary biological programing language (DNA) that works actually come into existance by accident.
there is too much order in the universe for it to have just happened.
and even though there is the theory that an organism arrived on earth via a comet or asteroid it still had to come from some where and if you are saying it evolved it still came from a rock.
