Life tends to be hard and often disappointing. We are all just trying to make contact with other souls and trying to be happy.
Most of us, me anyway, have a hard time trying to define what is happiness for us as it seems to change each time we think we are just about to "find happiness".
I value the soul in another and can be very happy just sitting and listening to a friend prattle on. Beyond the noise of the voice is the heart, the soul, softly reaching out to touch my soul.
Perhaps that is the only happiness we really need?

Happiness starts from within. If I'm not happy, people around me tend to be, or get unhappy. If I am happy and at peace with myself then it is just the opposite.
There is no constant. Life is a roller-coaster of many emotions. Experience them all and have some fun once in a while.

When God created us, He put a yearning in our soul for Him, and if we don't accept Him, we do not ever fell "happy." That is why so many people have trouble finding "happiness." But even when we find happiness, since it is a feeling, it is only TEMPORARY. What you should be looking for is joy. Joy is PERMANENT. Once you find joy in the Lord, you will always go back to that joy in times of trouble and in times of delight. Sometimes it takes us a long time to find that joy, because we are so hard-headed that we don't want to trust God, but once you find it, no one can ever take it away.

How did you lose it!

Who said life was supposed to be easy!

God said you toil from sun up to sun day and bear children in pain.

You lost the good life when you're ancestors ate the apple.

Learn to live with reality.

Perhaps. And perhaps we need more questions like this and fewer divisive ones.

I send a flower for your soul, dear.
