one day your a scientist building a bomb that destroys london, next day your building apollo,

which was evil? the scientist, or the person who *used* the scientist?

Supreme Court Case in 1920 said forced sterilization was ok, still on the books, states have issued apologies.

Christians said heh its darwin these people are going to end up on welfare like their parents.

Under state laws over 45,000 documented persons were sterilized.

Was that evil? Was that Charles darwin or was that the christians and lawyers and presidents and supreme court justices who not one stood up and said this is wrong?

i've lived for 12 in an Islamic country, and through that time my understanding of Islam has grown significantly. i've been considering to convert to Islam, especially because my friend wants to convert as well so we can convert together. i've totally accepted Islam the true religion from god, so do you think i should convert??

It's all very well saying its ok to state an opinion so long as its not offensive to others, but what if you know it will certainly offend some people? Should you lose your right to freedom of expression about what you believe?

This is particularly pertinent in the area of religion, where negative opinions seem to be suppressed out of respect for the hyper-sensitivity of some others.

What is more important? Someone feeling offended that they cannot express a strong negative opinion... or someone feeling offended by what is expressed?

This is a genuine question about our freedoms and priorities.
