Jim, please don't ever stop speaking the truth....

There are a lot of things evil with the situation the least of which is taking something out of context to use it for your own personal agenda. The blame has to be spread to everyone including humanity because people voted then and they put the judges, politicians, president in office.
Government should have stepped in and said this is wrong you do not do that to another human being. However, as powerful as governments are they are really no more than slaves to what the people want so they in reality are like a dog on a choke chain; and at that time the United States public opinion was intolerant and elitist.

Charles Darwin was a scientist. I made some observations and published a book outlining these and his conclusions. It became a very influencial book.
You are referring to "social darwinism" it was a process that was influenced by Darwins theories but Darwin had no role in it. Darwin did not concern himself with social issues and nothing, I will repeat, nothing in his writings outlines a "social darwin" principle.
Social darwininsm coincided with the heyday of colonialism throughout the world by europe and america. It provided a comfortable rationalism for their racism and xenophobia. It is not acceptable today. Though to be honest there were some observations in social darwinism which proved accurate.
In short, don't blame Darwin for it.

Give me the case, I'd like to see that. I know forced sterilization was said to be okay by the gov't for people with mental deficiencies, and that's still on the books.
So, give me the case citation and I"ll look that up on LexusNexis...I've been taking law classes for the past 2 semesters and never heard that about blacks.

No, the action picture replaced into by no skill 'banned'. No US distributor replaced into discovered precise away. That brought about thoughts that they have got been scared faraway from the action picture with the aid of ability backlash from conservative Christians. i think of those fears have been overblown and had extra to do with producing exposure for the circulate. Regardless, a distributor replaced into discovered and the action picture would be beginning interior the U. S. in December. the business enterprise dispensing it rather is an identical one that dispensed 'the keenness of the Christ'.

There are not churches in every corner. In fact America has become a secular country losing any moral clout it might have had. Case in point about the churches in every corner. Our city has a marathom and the city closes down not only for the runners for the watches who sit outside in their lawn chairs. Do not tell they went to church on Saturday. The US is secular country. I dare say Darwin's viewed had something to do with the loss of his daughter. But not everyone who loses someone advocates what he did. Of course it probably had something to do with how much he was paid to write his theory. But, I imagine he meant them. What not cash in on misery? Sorry that ishow I see it.

Charles put forth a theory; what people did with that theory is beyond his control (as in the case of Hitler).
There was a theory going around that since a woman's brain is smaller than a man's, it cannot hold as much information, so it is a waste of time to educate them.
That idea is STILL with us today. Those who need to find a justification for their pernicious acts can find them anywhere

Of course it was/is evil, Jim Darwin. A perfect example of perfect science going awry and your namesake taking the fall. Which is why science must always be balanced with... Religion.

that was blatant abuse of darwin's theory. interesting, btw, that the self same people who are currently promoting creationism were using darwin as an excuse for unacceptable behaviour then. i guess you could say they were evil, for abusing the theory of evolution that way and for being hypocrites to boot. everyone else wasn't exactly helping, but they were doing what seemed right at the time.

All human beings have the ability to commit evil and do evil things - but in the things you are citing you cannot fault Darwin for the evil others did in his name. He did not call for the use of his ideas to commit crimes against humanity.
