I'm disappointed in the lack of creativity shown here:

Most creative idea for breaking any of the biblical rules this weekend gets the best answer +10.

They don't have to just be about the 10 commandments.

Why there will only be 144,000 Annointed out of all who will ever live ... since the beginning and unto the end?

Why the Jewish People never embraced Jesus?

Why Peter betrayed Jesus three times?

Why Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus once, too?

Why Pilot considered Jesus as "just a man" by compairing Jesus to Barobass in Pilot's offer to choose?

Why the Roman Empire had no problem carrying out the order to kill Jesus?

These people were there ... ever wonder?

At least in faiths where it goes "Believe in or go to Hell." Does that even really sound fair to people who believe it? There is no conclusive evidence for it, plenty of evidence that the whole religion has been skewed along with its sacred text, and nothing compelling towards a god unless you choose to fill the gaps in what you know with "God did it.". Or of course you simply don't want to think about it too hard.

So with all those facts and all the gods very very stubbornly refusing to actually provide something tangible to show the way can you really blame some one for not wholly devoting himself to this cause? Why should some one believe that a god did everything just because some one who already believed it told them so? Why should we believe that your book was inspired by your god? Just because a bunch of people say so? Does it seem so unreasonable to not do everything said deity "says"? So is it really fair to send some one to hell for simply not being compelled?

I have been wondering if only Catholics wear the cross. Or there other Christians who also wear it? And why do they wear the cross?

Okay I have a friend. His name is Damon Stroderd. Lives in Lafayette, Louisiana. He is in a coma. Has been in a coma since Monday, August 21, 2006. He fell through a skylight rooftop and is fighting for his life. All his friends love him very much. He's had several operations on his brain. His Wife and children need him very much. Please say as many prayers for him that you can and maybe pass this on in your emails. I would greatly appreciate it. God Bless each and every one of you.

I have heard the statement that man made God in his image. We refer to god as having emotions, (love, hate, revenge), that god has preferances etc. If God is an omnipotent being, wouldn't he transcend human emotions & logic? Isn't it rather hubris of us to believe that our insignificant actions could directly influence this divine being by making him angry with us?

I'm planning on doing some heavy coveting, and maybe see how many sex rules I can break in a 2 hour period... then top it off by working on the Sabbath just for the hell of it.

Oh, and drunkenness. Lots of that.

How about you?

Have they not studied long enough... The word Palestinian or palestin was named by the british in the 1900's

From Wikipedia:
The actual Name would have to be Philistines... which lived in the land of Canon.
If the Philistines are to be identified as one of the "Sea Peoples" (see Origins below), then their occupation of Canaan would have to have taken place during the reign of Ramesses III of the Twentieth Dynasty, ca. 1180 to 1150 BC. Their maritime knowledge presumably would have made them important to the Phoenicians.

The patriarchal period begins with Abraham(israelite). Most Bible commentaries place the events surrounding Abraham (originally known as Abram) circa 1800 BCE, give or take 100 years. The account of his life is found in the Book of Genesis, beginning in Chapter 11, at the close of a genealogy of the sons of Shem (which includes among its members Eber, the eponym of the Hebrews).

Do you believe, as I do, that this day is about to come to an end, and you will be home with family and friends, maybe pop on once or twice throughout the weekend,

and do you believe, as I do, that you will be, forever, in my heart.

In his two books:

1. The History of the Jewish Khazars. New York: Schocken Books, 1967.

2. "The Khazars." The Dark Ages: Jews in Christian Europe, 711-1096. 1966.

D Dunlop, tells us: “.Do you know who the jews really are? (I call them Jews to you, because they are known as Jews. I don't call them Jews myself. I refer to them as so-called Jews, because I know what they are.) The eastern European Jews, who form 92 per cent of the world's population of those people who call themselves Jews, were originally Khazars. They were a warlike tribe who lived deep in the heart of Asia. And they were so warlike that even the Asiatics drove them out of Asia into eastern Europe. They set up a large Khazar kingdom of 800,000 square miles. At the time, Russia did not exist, nor did many other European countries. The Khazar kingdom was the biggest country in all Europe.

They were phallic worshippers, which is filthy and I do not want to go into the details of that now.”

I have seen no reason to believe in any gods and have many reasons not to (an understanding of how the human psyche works was a big factor) but I know I could be wrong, I doubt it but it could be. This doesn't mean that I think I'm right just because I think so, it means I see the facts one way and it doesn't seem to point to any higher power at all.

I always see people saying "Don't you know you'll go to Hell?" or "Jesus is the only way." And it makes me laugh, not in a mean way, I just can't help it. Just that the Bible was reassembled by power hungry politicians is enough for me to disregard most of what it says. I mean, if there was a god and Jesus was his son I doubt he meant for people to be such cut throat followers, even if you find evidence of a god (doubtful) you'll never find any that supports religion, a man made establishment. Evidence for one god is evidence for all gods. To me it seems like religion has it all wrong no matter what. Anyone else?

There is so much arguing on R. & S. about "evolution" and "creation". Wouldn't it be more "productive" if we thought and talked about what we could and/or should do to make our world a better place? For instance: how to reduce and if possible eliminate jealousy, hate and fighting?
