Depends on whether that person is a Christian or not.

If yes, then no.

If no, then it doesn't matter what they're doing before they die - they'll still go to Hell.

In all seriousness, if a person lives and dies without asking for forgiveness and believing on Jesus, they will go to hell. It doesn't matter what you do during your life, whether it be premarital sex or something else. No matter what, someone who lives is going to sin. It doesn't matter what the sin, if you don't TRUELY repent, you are not going to get into Heaven.

Yes, Christians teach that there will be no mercy once a person angers God. The person will forever be cut off from God and sent to a lake of fire for non-stop wailing and gnashing of teeth. And that goes for every other unrepentant sin, too -- according to God's holy people.

Here, for example, is how strict God is regarding the Sabbath (this is from the Bible), so if he is this strict about that, just imagine the sin of pre-marital sex:

Exodus 35:2

For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death.

Think about that how many people work on the Sabbath -- all the employees of Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, Linens & things, grocery stores, convenience stores, power plants, airlines, hospitals, emergency services and so on. Don't rabbis, priests and preachers work on the Sabbath? If they are guilty of this sin, is this any worse than pre-marital sex and the consequences?

I would say no if the person accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. You will go to hell for not believing in Jesus you will pay the reprocussions of sin while on earth. I think if you are in the middle of cleaning up your life and you backslid or are still working on that then God knows your heart i think you'll be ok, but if you accept Jesus and have intention of turning your life around then i think you are in trouble.

What a load of crap. There's no hell and there's nothing wrong with having premarital sex. Have sex (safely) it's good for you. It'll release all that pent up ridiculousness that leads to questions like this.

Man it's bible thumping conservatives like you (or whoever taught you this crap) that elected the idiot of a president that we currently have.

everyone is accountable for their actions to someone, whether it be themselves, their family, community, or to God.

If you are looking for answers from the Bible, then:

Hell as punishment for sins?

You tell me if the judgment comes before or after being in hell, after reading Revelation 20:13, which says:
"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works." (KJV)

And what does the bible really say is the punishment for sin?
Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift God gives is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (KJV)

Does the soul die? Ezekiel 18:4: "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die." (KJV)

Those are plain statements, and I added no explanation of my own.

If we truly believe that Hell exists, and that we must pay for our sins, and that Jesus paid the price for our sins, BUT we must ask forgiveness for those sins...AND the person did not ask forgiveness for a mortal sin before he died....then YES...that person will likely go to Hell.

Sorry.

According to the Bible, yes, but in my opinion, no. If a person is mature enough to consent to sex, then it's their choice and they shouldn't be held back by their religion.

Are you talking about a Christian? If you are then, only God knows, if your not, then premarital sex or not, they are going to hell.

Only God knows the heart of the individual sinner and his or her level of understanding of the consequences of sin. So, it would seem logical that only God can answer your question. You on the other hand seem to have a pretty good understanding of the seriousness of sin, so try to be careful and avoid such behavior.
