How did you like it? I was recently to a sikr in Mexico City's tariqa and it was odd... this thing of moving in circle while you repeat one of the 99 names of God swinging the head was... energyzing. However, I was impressed by the fact that the sheikh was a woman. I thought that was not allowed in Islam. (I know it is not Islam but Sufism stem from it), also by the music and the fact that at the end everyone (men and women) embrassed and kissed each other.

Share your experience with me, please.

I read a very famous Islamic book (Badi'e Al Fawa'id by Muhammed Ibn Abu Bakr), which was re-published in Mecca, Saudi Arabia in 1996. In that book I found a Fatwa that looks too weird to me. This Fatwa gives a permission for Muslim men to have concubines (female slaves) and to have sex with them regardless of their age. Is there any Muslim to comment on this Fatwa?

The book is also available online (in Arabic):

I'm gonna quote Jim_Darwin and say that I'm not trying to convert anyone. I'm a Christian, just so you all know.

The second great commandment Jesus taught is that we should love our neighbor as ourself. As in, we need to love and respect one another and treat others as we would like to be treated. Can we all agree that this is also a basic human truth? We all want love, respect, and understanding. Let's be respectful this morning, thanks all ♥

Like the cult followers of the movie The Big Lebowski? They all live out in the middle of nowhere, and have a lazy society. They don't do anything to anyone, they just like The Dude (the main character) a lot.

Any ideas about what concepts of the Divine, if any, telepathic beings might have?

I'm not a scientologist, but I was wondering, how this idea or faith sells. I see alot of references to many self-help concepts, but the alien thing? They do have lots of money and money does alot of things. I wonder what evidence they could possibly have, and could they have strong ties to intelligence agaencies and their plethora of knowledge. I was thinking about some of the actors involved. John travolta has done a few movies with deep metaphysical concepts. And Robin Williams. I don't think he is a scientologist, but look at some of his movies. Oh well. Just a thought. Any comments?

I keep seeing people say that no sin is worse than any other in the eyes of god. This clearly makes no sense if god is just. Some crimes are worse than others and deserve greater punishment. Such a concept isn't even Biblical. The following all support the idea of degrees of sin: Ex. 32:30, Ezek. 23:11, 1 John 5:16, Mk. 3:28-30.

God created Adam and Eve, no other humans. Adam and Eve had two sons. One son killed the other. If Adam and Eve had some unmentioned daugthers that would have been incest anyway. So where do humans actually come from according to the bible?

Evelutionsm has shown so many scientific proofs of it being true. One of the millions of examples being that people living in higher grounds like the himalayas have larger lungs as compared to people living in sea level. This is to help then take in oxygen in that thin atmosphere. Like that there are lots and lots of evidences of evelutionism. Then why is there still the debate? Isn't it clear that evelutionism is the right theory? and not creationism?

There are many, many catagories for people to ask questions. Why do people come here and ask questions that they know are insulting? Not believing in anything isn't a religion and it is not spiritual so what is your story? I have had people from other religions answer my questions and they may not have believed what I believe but they weren't insulting like you are as a group. It really gets old hearing the same old insults and degrading comments said about something as important as what you base your whole life on. Would any of you like it if people just walked up and insulted you for no reason? Of course you get to hide behind than anonymity of being online. Theres a big world out there, why not try asking inteligent questions and gaining real information? peace?
