Now that is pretty 'catchy' but it hasn't stopped people from doing it.

christ, that is not using gods name in vain....God's name got lost along time ago, noone knows it..the jews usto say it, but don't anymore due to the fear of God. so, if someone is cussing using God's name in it, that is not taking his name in vain. sorry that u have been mislead...those are man made words, you will not go to hell for it.......you will be judged for your good deeds that you have done while here on earth..that's all..God Bless.

the jewish teaching about using god's name in vain relates to saying that god said you should do this or that. that is what's wrong and forbidden.
using the word god in a sentence is not what they're talking about. for god's sake. it's just a word.
