No, but I've met arrogent people who thought they were. They thought that they were enlightened and acted though they were better than everyone else. This let me know that they weren't really enlightened. No humility.

I met this buddhist monk from Sri Lanka once. He had a calm and clarity over him that I have never seen in people in the West.

i met a budhist monk at a monastery in thailand four days ago -- he was a pretty cool guy (oh and i'm not making this up or anything, i've been vacationing with the fam in thailand for the past two and a half weeks)

how can any one meet some one is spiritually enlightened? i hope if he is enlightened, his physical will not be on earth
spritually enlightened will guide us i agree, but not being alive i suppose.
