Evelutionsm has shown so many scientific proofs of it being true. One of the millions of examples being that people living in higher grounds like the himalayas have larger lungs as compared to people living in sea level. This is to help then take in oxygen in that thin atmosphere. Like that there are lots and lots of evidences of evelutionism. Then why is there still the debate? Isn't it clear that evelutionism is the right theory? and not creationism?

I know that bigger lungs is not evelution but it is one step towards evelution..
This is what happened:
Goldfish lived at the bottom and fed on food found there. Some of them decided to go upwards where there was abundance in some other food (plankton i think) so these fishes slowly developed large mouths and body. Their color changed to blueish and they could no longer mate with the original ones. That is evelution, right?

The debate is because some ppl choose to accept the bible of their belief system as the only authority and refuse to upset a set of beliefs that they find comfort in.

Personally, I think evolution is God's method of creation.

Many scientists have decided that there had to be a master plan for the awesome things that exist. If you would actually look at the creation (things made) you would see that too. The reason that you listed only shows that we were created with the ability to adapt to our surroundings. It is not evidence. There are so many evidences of creation. And I am not talking about mainstream "creationists" who actually cast suspicion on creation because they do not have all of the facts. I have a book that you could read that deals with creation from a scientific point of view. IF you are interested.

no. That is not evolution. That's changing 1 trait inside the next the animal or person to help the next generation. God created good things, right. Evolution is 1 animal completely changing into another animal. example, your father being King Kong. then you, human. The big Bang theory. I have 1 bolt. Over millions of years, it turns into a car. This planet is perfectly made for humans to live in. Like the oxygen mix in the air, for example, has to be perfect for our lungs to breathe, did this really happen by chance. Are we really that lucky. I have a book written by 40 different authors, over 2000 years making over 300 predictions. All came true. The chance of that happening is 1 chance in ten with 56 zeroes after the 10.

NOTE: Christians will probably make fun of your incorrect spelling on this one. They're wonderfull people aren't they.

Christians that believe the bible is the 'Word Of God' cant have it any other way. If they believe evolution to be true then.... Adam and Eve and the garden of Eden go Bye Bye. No original sin!! No Need for a 'Savior'!!!. No need for one 'Jesus the Christ'.
So it is like this, they cannot accept the scientific theory of evolution because the theological effects will be disastrous. And the christian leaders have for seen that. Some christians have done well with accepting it, but they are 'weak' christians anyway kinda like "Jesus provided a way so we wouldn't be burnt in hell for all eternity, but hey dont make a big deal out of it" types of christians. Fundamental christians actually believe in the bible and Jesus. Moderates are just confused little sheep when it comes to their personal religious views
thats my atheist view

Larger lungs is not a proof of evolution. It can be considered natural selection.... IE the body adapts to the environment. God designed it this way. Evolution says man came from something like an ape. This is a different species.
Any more questions?

I happen to believe that God created this massive universe and everything in it, I don't see the two as being separate. Doesn't it even make a little sense that a creator would create all these diverse and interesting things? If I were a creator, I wouldn't create just a piece of paper, I'd create it with color and texture to be unique and mysterious and as interesting as possible for others to enjoy.

The thing is, religious people will tell you God created those people with bigger lungs. Their answer for everything is in God. They just don't believe in evolution, like you and I don't believe in creation.

And your spelling is proof that public education is evolving in a negative direction.

I am a fan and supporter of the Evolution Theory but even scientist will tell you it is a theory and hasn't been proved yet.

Everyone has their own beliefs. Your argument is clearly valid and reasonable but so are others'. Although it's difficult, somehow we all need to start respecting each others' views and learn to cope with our differences.

What I don't like about all sides of the conflict is how everyone is trying to prove that their beliefs are more legit, and trying stick their ideologies in others' faces.

You ask "Why the debate?". Well just look at your commentary. It just asks for it.
