I get the no tattoo thing, and some say no henna. Does that also include sunless-tanning stuff? Think about it, if you say no henna, you've got to say no sun-less tanning stuff because, all henna is staining skin, wich is all sun-less tanning cream is... so does that mean no sun-less tanning?

All over the UK churches are closing and mosques opening. There seems to be a complete lack of dynamism within the clergy. No firebrands of the Knox, Luther or Calvin status ever appear. The ministers and priests seem quite happy with their lots and content to receive their stipends while churches disappear. They meld with the establishment and do nothing to fight the cause.

Please, only Atheist with sincer answers. I've always believed in Creation. But after reading all these postings, I'm beginning to think maybe evolution is true. So could some of you well educated Atheist tell me how evolution works, how cells come into existence. If DNA is in a digital code, as scientist have now proven, tell me how DNA can produce something with a different code.

I just want to thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

No doubt many will talk about the pain involved, but a few hours of pain seem like nothing for eternal bliss in the Christ Cultists heaven.

I have known people who have suffered excruciating pain for years would would gladly go through what the fictional Jesus did to be free of the pain.

It doesn't seem like much of a sacrifice if you knew you were heaven bound and going to spend eternity in bliss.

Just please don't try and bash me on this or anything. I'm not an atheist, so I wouldn't know. Since most funerals are religion based, do atheists, have funerals for their loved ones, or no?

Please be honest and then answer why don't you?

And Yes I know that no man knows the day or hour in which Christ will return. And for all who don't believe in the rapture, thanks for your comments, because I'll be praying for you not to miss it.

in that verse it says if there is between you and someone else enmity, then treat him like a very close friend. and whoever recieve this gift except the patient and the lucky ones.

Quran 41:34
[34] The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better, then verily he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend.

[35] But none is granted it (the above quality) except those who are patient - and none is granted it except the owner of the great portion in this world.

it's not only in christianity.

do you people know that there are some people who prefer to have sex with animals? should we accept their "sexuality" too??? BS..... now you are thinking that animal is not a human being, so it's different..... but i have another example...
do you know that there are people who prefer to have sex with little kids? "Mr. Jackson for example :-)..... Should we accept their sexuality too??? now, you can't say that kids are not human beings...

yes, i think that HOMOsexuality, Pedophilia, and Bestiality are in the same category....

THE WORLD IS LOOSING MORALS.... 50 years ago homosexuality became pretty much socially acceptable.... few years from now Bestiality will be accepted, and another 50 years and pedophilia will be accepted.

BUT IS IT RIGHT? no, of course, so we gotta cut it short where it began... at the Homosexuality.

Throughout history many used Christanity to futher their cause, be it political, military, governmental etc. Some attempt to make reference to these historic figures as to prove the lack of credibilty in Christianity. Jesus said you shall know them by their fruits. Many even go as far as to hold up Adolph Hitler as a prime example of a Christian, of course they are not intellectually honest. Hitler said Christanity was the cancer of humanity on Oct 13 1941. At the same time he is not an example of a typical atheist as well, the truth is he was pure evil. The true test of a "Christian" is their fruits. If you see murder, rape, torture, fallen pastors etc..we must ask ourselves if they are "really" typical examples of Christians. We can easily find examples (unfairly) of ANY belief to un fairly characterize anyone. Hitler loved German Sheperds...does than mean dog lovers are evil?
I can point to dozen of horrible atheist from the past...does that mean everyone is exactly like them?
