The present Middle East crisis, not surprisingly, is the same in nature the worlds has seen since long between two uncompromising groups. These two groups can live in neighbourly peace in the USA and the Europe but the moment they go back to their land of origin they cannot live anymore in peace alongside one another!!!...

I think that if a United States of Israel and Palestine is created with the common capital Jerusalem, which will receive development budget or fund from both, then the age old crisis can be solved. The two groups can live in peace in the land with the neighbourly peace as they live in as in the Europe and America or anywhere elsewhere.

Jerusalem will be run by the Federal Government consisting members from all three main monotheistic religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Could you please comment?

Christianity for centuries exterminated anyone who believe in any religion other then theirs. Why is it that when you search the topic on Christianity its difficult to find this information. Should the world insist that truth is put in the forfront rather then Christian deception? When is the world going to clearly define these criminal organisations as such rather then still allowing them to deceive humanity into believing that they have something to do with love and god. It is a power hungry vicious organisation that grew into such a big monster. Islam is its more vicious twin, the only difference is that Christianity has already commited most of its crimes in the past while Islam is still trying to expand. They have absolutely nothing to do with god or love, they just enslave humanity and cause enormous suffering to all. They do everything in their power to prevent proper education so that people suffer and then they can say that they are needed.

I really don't see the appeal of living for all eternity. Most people I've met who lived to 90 were sitting around waiting for life to be over. (And I'm pretty sure they were hoping that there wasn't going to be an afterlife.)
Living for eternity is unimaginable. I don't care how great heaven could be, even being happy for that long would start to feel bad after awhile. Eventually you'd just want it all to end.
Did this whole idea come about, because people are afraid of the unknown and since no one knows for sure what happens after you die, this was the 'happy' option?

What would happen if everyone who believes in God closed their eyes for 10 seconds and thought what they believe God will look like when they die and see him/her/it/them and then opened their eyes and typed what they saw and felt during those 10 seconds?

Please, close your eyes for 10 seconds and imagine what God will look like to you when you die and then open your eyes and type what you saw and felt.

I have seen some muslims (espicially from India) when they goto Gulf start hating the other religious preachers for no reason. My brother is a project manager in a company in the Middle East. He offered many his muslim friends from India decent jobs. A guy was so friendly with my brother for six months and started instgating his fellow muslims against my brother. To be frank, I heard that they feel they are working under a non-muslim and they dont want him.

"In the Gospel of John, the disciple John frequently refers to himself in the third person as 'the disciple whom Jesus loved'." 4 One might argue that Jesus loved all of his followers in a non-sexual way. Thus to identify Jesus' love for John in a special way might indicate a sexual relationship. The disciple was "the" beloved. He was in a class by himself.
During the Last Supper before Jesus' execution, the author(s) of the Gospel of John describes how the "beloved" disciple laid himself on Jesus' inner tunic -- his undergarment. See John 13:25 and 21:20. Robert Goss, assistant professor of comparative religion at Webster University in St. Louis, LA, noted that Jesus and the beloved disciple: "... eat together, side by side. What's being portrayed here is a pederastic relationship between an older man and a younger man. A Greek reader would understand." 5 Jesus appears to have loved all of his male and female followers in a close, trusting, non-erotic manner.

Is islam fundamentally "wrong", or only because it appears that way due to extremists focusing on certain passages of their holy book rather than the whole of the quaran which may, like the bible, contradict these corrupt morals elsewhere?

His 'religious philosophy' was full of holes.
Besides the obvious, ridiculous assertion that ‘it is better to believe in god than not, just to be on the safe side' (and what god would respect something as flimsy as that?) there is also his statement that without god, life is meaningless and miserable.
Atheists, whether you want to see it or not, have more of a meaning to their lives than an instant, straight-out-of-the-box believer. A believer says 'yes, there is a god because other people told me so'. If such an attitude isn't meaningless, it is, at least silly and superficial.
An atheist on the other hand does not just accept prepackaged answers. An atheist is searching for the meaning to existence. (This is the part where religious people read into this 'see, he's looking for god', ah, wrong. A meaning to life doesn't require a magical deity.)
By actively questioning existence, an atheist is using the scientific mind that Pascal seemed to be missing in his philosophy.

* Our Islam is an integerated relgion that provide us with perfect ways in believing,financial,social,dai... deed, human principles even in eating, drinking or sex. So, we look at him a the ABSOLUTE PERFECT SYSTEM, neither U.S democracy or any other WEAK MAN-MADE systems will be like it at all. So, do not try to apply this short minded systems on us.

*Islam includes fighting of whom want to darken the light of that religion. Yes, but we were ordered to not to kill women, children, and other civilians.in fact, we were ordered to be friends with other people who are friends to muslims. So, we see our God Allah as strong and merciful who sent sent Mohammed With that religion.

*So, when a country such U.S or Israel want to destroy our priciples and invade our countries, what do u think we had to do?

ISLAM IS NOT JUST A TRADITION LIKE JAPANESE,CHINESE or HINDI TRADITIONS...IT IS A BELIEF IN OUR HEARTS AND A GUIDE IN OUR DEEDS.
