Can we decide whether we want to believe in od as well? Does that make any difference in our destiny? Is our destiny pre-determined?

Yes we have free will to choose to believe or not to believe and of course it is going to make a difference in our long trem future. For if you do not believe that God is real and the creator of all you will not have an eternity in the kingdom of heaven. I am not sure what a pantheon is but it does not sound like something i could believe in. Nor would I want to. I have my heavenly Father and Jesus Christ who paid the penalty for my sins on the cross and that is all I need.
