Please help me with some scriptures to say when I feel I am being tempted, or some advice. Thanks and God bless....the best answer goes to whose heart is shown to be totally committed to the Lord...

Remember the Lords prayer. Ask Him to lead you not into temptation. There are temptations everywhere you look, but God is faithful and He will give you a way out. Trust the Holy Spirit within you. Listen to His guidance. That is the best thing that you can do to avoid falling into temptation. He is here to guide, council, lead, love, comfort, and help us. Seek Him.

I was just reading about the part when Jesus was in the desert being tempted by the devil. And it has some good wording, "Away from me Satan..." that should help.

1cor10:13 no temptation has seized you but what is common to man.And God is faithful,He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bare,and when tempted He will also provide a way out so that you can stand under it Also read James 4:7,8

OK I want u to imagine u are in a room full of naked men and women and they are all starting to feel each other up. The men are getting erections and pointing them at the girl they want to have sex with. Now is that tempting?

pray to God. also, choose to do an act of kindness (however small it might be) when you are being tempted. Ask God's forgiveness and know that you are loved even if you fail.

It's easier yet just to give in to temptation. If you can't think of earthly consequences to deter you, maybe it isn't wrong.
