The present Middle East crisis, not surprisingly, is the same in nature the worlds has seen since long between two uncompromising groups. These two groups can live in neighbourly peace in the USA and the Europe but the moment they go back to their land of origin they cannot live anymore in peace alongside one another!!!...

I think that if a United States of Israel and Palestine is created with the common capital Jerusalem, which will receive development budget or fund from both, then the age old crisis can be solved. The two groups can live in peace in the land with the neighbourly peace as they live in as in the Europe and America or anywhere elsewhere.

Jerusalem will be run by the Federal Government consisting members from all three main monotheistic religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Could you please comment?

Israel was created by the allies at the end of ww2 - you can't just carve yourself a chunk out of someones garden and think he won't mind - Israel is part of Palestine and belongs to both jews and Palestinians, plus one or two other minor sub groups - the world should insist that it be returned to its natural owners and and become a multi racial society.

That's an interesting theory although I don't agree with it. It seems like you are watering down what Isreal stands for. That kind of like saying we will mandatorily insert Jews, Christians and Muslims into the American congress. I personally feel that isn't fair.

Otherwise, I don't really think this crisis will ever be solved. It goes all the way back to Bible times, Genesis to be specific. Muslims are the descendents of Ishmael, who was born to Abraham and his wife's handmaiden Hagar. Israelites are descendents of Isaac, who was born to Abraham and his wife, Sarah. Abraham was promised innumerable descendents and that everything would be given to them through Isaac. Hagar and Ishmael were sent away when Isaac was born and the two nations from them have never stopped fighting.

if the underlying aim of certain arab entities is the complete removal of Judaism and Israel from the region, they will be (as they have historically been) unwilling to share. As it stands now, the waqf has control of muslim holy sites, but once israel relinquishes any direct control of jewish holy sites, one can expect a "joseph's tomb" redux.

Good idea but to implement it is impossible. When you have a group of people who's goal is to kill the other you cannot negotiate with them.

You are just as bad as those religious zealots who are fighting. You want USA to control the middle east and basically own it!? That is ridiculous!
