Adapting or evolving?

This isn’t a matter of ‘religion versus science’. Merely thought provoking and I’m more than interested in hearing your responses.

Me just rambling on:
Are we not the same now as opposed to four thousand years ago or further back then that? I feel as though the human race is absolutely fooling themselves into believing they are superior… even superior to their ancestors. The human race didn’t evolve, they merely adapted to their surroundings to a great extent. To me the word evolution should never have even existed except in the comic book universe.

Do you think everyone would simply ignore and/or dismiss him as a crack-pot with dangerous, cult-like tendencies? Think about it, he was quite radical, and I'm not sure some of his ideas would sit well with most of today's organized religions, or anyone else for that matter.

Does it mean that we were created to look like God? Or does it mean that God is the creator and gave us the ability to be creators as well? I'm not a Christian, but I believe that there is some truth in the bible.

Who would win? Who could be the most mean to the most people? Don't forget the flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, Job's family...And though the Devil lives in Hell, God is the one who drops people off there without cab fare.

I'm a catholic and I went to catholic school and at some point we learned about all the mainstream religions, except paganism. I'ts been bugging me since I saw that episode of the simpsons with the reverand and the priest and they said you know we should stop fighting since we have so much in common because we both believe in jesus and hate the pagans. Just curious.

Why do you not have the Deuterocanonical books which you call "apochrypha" in your bible when they are CLEARLY referenced in the New Testament? This is taking away from the Word of God, which the Bible clearly prohibits in many verses.

Why do protestants think that Catholics pray TO Blessed Mary?
In reading the prayer they do not.

If the ten comandments are to Honor your mother and father then why do you have a problem with the respect and honor we give her? If God thought she was worthy why do you not?If the angel called her "favored one, the Lord is with you" why do you Still not call her blessed Mary?

And where do you get the idea that Jesus had a blood brother from Blessed Mary? This is not the proper meaning of "brother" protestants refer to.The word brethren can refer to a cousin, uncle or even a close freind...not a blood brother in particular.

I have known many people who consider themselves spiritual, religious, churchgoers; yet, they smoke, curse like a sailor, lead immoral lives, committ crime and fornication. Does your God allow you to do these things? Are you one of those who put more $$$ into the basket, sing higher or "do more things to praise God," thinking that your amount of $$$ that you dropped in will cover your sins? Are you a "holy person" or a "holy-faker" leading a double life? Are you bold enough to confess? Go ahead, that is, if you dare! Give me some feedback here. I look forward to the responses...

There are many today who claim to "believe in Jesus," but why do you get involved in politics? Or, why don't you go door-to-door, city-to-city, village-to-village and preach like Jesus did? At the same time, you hate your fellowman. Can you really call yourself a believer of Christ if you get involved in politics? Hit me back with some responses. Oh yeah, I will pose some more questions that will expose some of the religions out there the world over and the world in general.
