Does God know his own future decisions? If God is all-knowing he actually shouldn't have any decisions to make at all. Nor can he choose anything over something else. For that would mean that he is neither omniscient nor omnipotent. In fact, he can't even think if this is the case. Since he can't DO anything, he might as well not exist.

Is it possible that his followers made him seem larger than life after his death in order to make the messiah legend seem more real, and further their own agenda and celebrity? Sorry this is not worded very well, but I am just draggin' *** today.

deny the possibility that there may not be a God, they're narrow-minded, but when an atheist denies the possibility that there MAY BE a God, they're enlightened?
What's the difference? Aren't they both narrow-minded?
And why is it that when a Christian condemns a behavior or a religion, they're being judgemental, but when an atheist condemns religion, it shows their "intellect"?

i'm a christian (baptist) and i'm in love with a guy who is a member of Iglesia ni Cristo since birth, but he has always had doubts about many of their beliefs. He has always considered leaving, especially now that we are in a relationship, but he is having a hard time dealing with leaving his friends and possibly hurting his family. My family is opposed to our relationship because of this difference in religion and i'm curious to know what the chances of him leaving are.

In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
Reference:
21:7 If a man sells his daughter as a maidslave, she shall not be freed as male slaves are released.
21:8 Her master should "provisionally" designate her as his bride, and if she is not "pleasing" to him, he must let her be bought back. He is considered to have broken faith with her, and he therefore does not have the right to sell her to anyone else but her father.
21:9 If [the master] designates her as a bride for his son, she must be treated exactly the same as any other girl.
21:10 [Similarly], if [the master] marries another wife, he may not diminish [this one's] allowance, clothing or "conjugal rights".
21:11 If none of the above three are done [to the girl], then she shall be released without liability or payment.

I can't believe how many of you pay lip service, but don't really believe in the literal truth of the bible. These were the direct commands of god about biblical FAMILY VALUES!

When you know full well that athiests and/or agnostics are going to completely ignore your request and answer anyway? Seriously, you know how people are here. If you tell people not to respond, it makes them even more likely to respond, just to yank your chain.

Does anyone have an exampl of what foolish talking and Jesting (whats that) is?

Ephesians 5:4 (King James Version)
4Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
on NIV it says
4Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.

So.. can you give me an example?

if satan rules hell what makes atheist think that they will party w/him? why don't they think that they themselves could be ruled and made to be his slaves in an eternal burning fire? I need a real answer because that doesn't sound like too much fun to me.

Just so you know, The Bible is not an acceptable answer here because the gospels were written at least half a century after the time of Jesus (look it up).

Who claimed he was a prophet/son of god? Him? His followers? Did he have followers? A trumped up charge by the romans?

"God is all merciful," we hear quite often. Wouldn't it be more merciful of God to simply snap sinners out of existence rather than send them to hell? Or better yet, since he's all-knowing, not allow them to be born at all?
