Because they're too snotty for you. Also, it invites a$$holes like me to verbally trash the flaws and hypocracy of their beliefs. And that's a big plus! :)

Hmmm, interesting responses. As a Christian, I may not add that requirement, but I think other Christians might require that in order to discuss the issue with someone who has knowledge and love for Jesus Christ. Christians, all Christians BETTER NOT think that anyone is beneath them or "stupid".
If they want another Christian to answer, it is just a matter of fellowship and support. Christians don't waste time answering questions with sarcasm or profanity or name calling. Some questioneers may just be avoiding that type of arena.
Don't hate them for that, just move on to a question that interests you instead! It should be more fun for you anyway...God bless.

I think what they are meaning is that they want people with the same beliefs answering their questions? That is my take on it anyway. I am a believer in god, but I don't go to church every Wednesday and Sunday so they probably would not like it if I answered either. What "they" fail to realize is that they are supporting a form of racism and that in itself is not christian like behavior, so the next time you see that ask them why they are being racist towards other peoples beliefs and see what they have to say about that! LOL I am for real though because I cannot stand hypocrites!

Chill (instead of acting like an overreacting baby) and read this: how about it's because there are tons of non-religion jerks who say the most disrespectful and obscene things ever to answer a serious, or at least, religious question? Think about that... thank you.

Extrinsical religiosity that has the writers of such questions addicted to external affirmation...maybe. Or, maybe they are proselytizing -- which is more or less the same thing, I guess, with a little bile added. Something that Kurt Vonnegut wrote in his book "Cat's Cradle" comes to mind and if memory serves, it went like this: "Beware the man who tries hard to learn something, learns it and finds himself no wiser: He is filled with a murderous contempt for those who have come by their ignorance the easy way".

You can answer their questions. Who says you can't? It's not the only group that post that. Others do it to. Nothing wrong with looking for answers from people with your same beliefs.

You are too stupid.
I've seen plenty other questions "for muslims only" or "for atheists only".
further proof of the fact that you DON'T know enough.
maybe you should have titled this question:
"For ignorants and idiots only"
*like you would know what a christian would do*

Probably because they want other Christians perspective and are tired of "I'm not Christian, so I can't answer" type answers.

They don't want anyone who might question their belief system (i.e., rational, thinking beings). It might force them to actually think for themselves.
