How can someone 'think' they are a Muslim? Either your brother is a Muslim and believes in the Muslim doctrine (and this is an isent opinion, mind you, because I'm not a Muslim, but a Christian) or he isn't. It seems to me that you might be in denial over your brother's choices, mate... let him be a Muslim if he really wants to.

What you need to do, is get some of your Christian friends together and do alot of praying, and asking the Holy Spirit to guide you to help your brother back, sometimes we get lost, but we need to lead others back, In the Bible their is a story of two brothers, one with an inheritance that went off and spent it all friviously until he was broke and even craved the food that the pigs were eating, the other brother stayed behind, finally the first brother came back and asked his father if he could work as a servant, and the father automatically welcomed him back feeding him a fattened calf, and having a celebration, the other brother would not come to eat, and asked why he was doing all this, when he has always been there?
He told him, don't you see, your brother was lost, thought to be dead, but now he's back.
Compare that to God, God wants us to return, God loves us, that is why God sent Jesus, so that we wouldn't be lost anymore.

You & your brother are both part(s) of God... God doesn't do wrong... the religion one chooses to practice really doesn't mean a damn thing (pun intended)... 'cause God would hardly damn/condemn any aspect of "Himself".

If your comprehension of your religion leads you to believe that any "religion" is what It's (God's) all about... You're entirely missing the point. Religions are simply excercises, intended to help people come to a better understanding of God. God is not a religion... nor is any religion the entirety of God.

Be careful what you're thinking, friend. God's what the whole deal's about... not religion. Fortunately, God's better & more dynamic than our best considerations. One of the reasons God says not to judge (and just one of them) is because we choose poor topics (such as one person's religion) to judge one another on. It's silly... and your time would be better served by praying for yourself... that you come to a better, some day even True, comprehension of God.

I'm sure you will... Meanwhile, devote yourself toward that End.

Hope you don't take any offense to this, but who cares what religion others believe in....I think you are more narrow minded than your brother that you want to change his religion by prayer! That's like the least logical thing ever....
Religion is crap!
God bless you both.

It was that 72 virgins bribe isn't it? It's really hard to fight that with a male, they want it so bad, reason and common sense just don't work. First off, you need to let him know how ridiculous that concept is, that God does not bribe people with sex in heaven to committ mass murder.

i shall pray for you,not your brother, for you are the one who needs guidance ,, if you don't accept him just keep away from him.......and don't harm him... and if your open minded enough you'd ask him why he chose this path... you might end up a Muslim yourself with God's well...
