evolve into existence from nothing? I mean, for instance, the laws of gravity! To me, the existence of a law is proof there's a "lawgiver". I can not imagine a law evolving into existence! I'm not talking about the mental gymnastics in the usual line of reasoning about the unproven hypothesis of the evolution of "matter". Please keep sarcastic remarks to yourself. I'm asking a serious, logical question.
I know that "laws" as applied to science are attempts to understand the universe. What I'm asking is how did the laws being described "evolve"? How did the way gravity, light, etc., etc. acts "evolve"?

religion is only a tool so that we got to understand life better spiritually, to live morally and ethically, and so that we are able to find wisdom to handle the earth's natural suffering and resist temptations which will get us entangled into many troubles.

It is like a kitchen knife. People use it to cook.
But some strange, evil people use it to kill.
You can't blame on the kitchen knife when it happened?!?!?! If we banned all the knives then we cannot cook! People are the ones who take consequences of their actions. What's religion got to do with it?

Do you think the outcry against Muslims (especially after 9/11) is the result of misunderstanding and ignorance, or hatred? Or some other factor? If you're like me and have Muslim friends, how do they feel about it?

10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.
9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.
8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune God.
7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!
6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky

This is one of the best explanations of that I have seen. It's an explanation people will understand.
A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving a God who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and un-kept.
The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."
"Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me."
"Exactly!"- affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

Why is it that you can talk about God and nobody gets upset, but as soon as you mention Jesus, people often get offended?....How is Jesus different from other religious leaders? Why dont people get offended by the names of Buddha or Mohammed? Why?

Don't use the bible, or any other story, give me factual evidence-i.e. a scientific explanation, don't say faith, don't say "just believe", seriously prove it-I don't think you can

Now i want to see some answers that make sense, no talk of a flood because dinosaurs lived over millions of years, they did not all disappear at once. Also if anyone mentions the behemoth or leviathan, these are invalid. The behemoth is mentioned for sure, but this does not prove existence of dinosaur in the bible as it is only one reference to one creature, surly the hundreds of species of large dinosaurs would have played a bigger part in bible history. And the leviathan lived in water; no dinosaurs live in water so leave that one out too. I'm talking real dinosaurs not plesiosaurs or ichthyosaurs.
Cheers.

I feel my heart and soul bound together by a long and winding invisible silver cord...I feel my heart and soul have been set on fire...good fire...and my soul brain is a bright light pulling all light and knowledge into it...All good light and good knowledge. I feel a deep pulling inside me that is like a magnet pulling all illumination into me like a strong gravitational pull from a planet.. I feel my soul is such a shining light that it outshines my facial features in the spirit realm...I feel all things are good to me and for me there are no laws and rules of man...there is no need for rules if one exists for good... all this without my research..it just occurs to me. Any one have any advice or direction ?
