Because evil cannot exist without good, and good cannot exist without evil.
Its the Yen-Yang priniciple.

Because without one, the other couldn't exist. Can't have good w/o bad, evil w/o angelic, god w/o devil and etc.

well, it takes all kinds of beings to made this world, so all ghost, spirits, demons etc are but just another kind of beings.
