Its not limited to some chritians, its a universal affair to avoid answering and escape in the name of god/satan!!! This is a typical answer of the "parent ego". Just like your dad said" this is not for children like you...if you continue with that the next answer is that "you will repent in hell if you do it again""

It's simply that they don't really know spiritual truth for themselves. They have a conceptual vocabulary based on what they've been taught, which they assume is true because they don't know any better. Tragically, the Christian concept of God is of an irrational control freak; EVEN THOUGH they will tell you of God's love, this is the same God who will burn his children in hell for the noble act of following their conscience.
Don't expect a Christian to know God outside of what he was taught. Their God doesn't make good moral sense when properly scrutinized. He's an overbearing authoritarian who discourages free inquiry and independent thought... so, they act like him, and dismiss your questions.
Better answers will come from within yourself as you develop your awareness of God. I would recommend exploring some of the various mystic writings to get your feet wet before making your own path.
You could start simple with something like "Conversations With God." There is some beautiful literature from the Sufi writers, like Pir Vilyat Inayat Khan. There's an interesting group called Eckankar that is a modernized version of Surat Shabd Yoga, which ties a lot of things together, borrowing heavily from Neville (Rosicrutian?), Hinduism, and other less religious (more spiritual) approaches to God.
Good luck. Have fun!

If I have ever answered one of your questions look back to see and I have not said that without justification. I will give a real answer to any serious question. However the truth remains that if a person refuses to repent of their sin and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior they will burn in hell. There is a loving way to present that to people and some Christians don't take the time to do that. But the truth remains the truth.

Taking one step outside of yourself to help a fellow human being in a meaningful way would answer this question for you.
People feel good when they are "in the service of their fellow being."
Hell is that place you create for yourself where you have to live with others like yourself who only have a partial clue as to what good really is. Therefore the Hell that you create for yourself right now through sin is not far off from how you'll be living in the life to come. The only problem is, when you realize the entirety of your potential and how you wasted your probationary state(earth life), the definition of Hell will be all that much more clear.
I'm speaking of for all people and not directly to the person asking.

Because obviously they have not stayed in the word enough to know how to answer you. Jesus had many people come to Him with honest questions, deceitful Q, and trickery Q. Many people came to Him to test Him. And because He is the Living Word of God he had all of the right answers and many people became baffled , silenced and even converted. He never rebuked anyone without giving them love and comfort afterwards.
The true Word of God, when faced with its simplicity and wisdom and righteousness, is a thing that cannot be totally disclaimed by anyone. Deep down in there heart, some where niggling around in their soul , they know that God is real and that He is out there waiting on them to come and ask.
He says in the Bible that they will come before Him trembling in fear and He will cast them away, because they had their chance and chose to be ignorant.

Because they have fear, fear because in the very deep of themselves they know that all religions are false and God doesn't exist, but they find more easy to let the religion think for them that them start thinking. All religions were created by men, so the first task for the creators is not to allow you any kind of question that could make evident that the religion they created is false.

Because maybe they didn't have a response to your question and answered w/ the "burn in hell" reply out of frustration. Who knows. Maybe that's because just like everyone else, they don't know everything (they just think they do). :)
P.S. - I am a Christian and would never tell someone that they would "burn in hell". Who am I to judge someone else because of their choices ("judge lest ye be judged")?

dude come on, dont u know that they have a radio that they use to talk to their god, and hence thats where they get the idea of you going to hell. U should not blame these innocent people for they are only doing their god's work. Perhaps you should blame their god. Cause apparently he condems a lot of people for breaking his personal rules.

because they have no relevant answer. there can be no waver of faith or they will burn in hell themselves. try asking why humans are clearly designed for polygomy but yet, christians are brought up to be monogamous. a human male can clearly impregnate many, MANY, women before even one child is born. so by saying that monogamy is the right way to go, is that saying that god's design is flawed? i thought he was infallible...
