If a question is asked to christians, islamists or atheists they assume you are against them and take a rude tone? What is the point of sitting here asking and answering in repeatedly when you already believe your way is the right way and can't answer objectively? If you are content with your beliefs why don't you stay out?

It says in the BIble that not even Jesus knows the hour or day in which he will return that only the father does. I was wondering when other people thought that he would be coming back.

Willys cynical thought for the day;

Anybody else notice when you dial a wrong number, you never get a freaking busy signal?

A woman starts dating a married doctor. Before too long, she becomes pregnant and they don't know what to do. About nine months later, just about the time she is going to give birth, a priest goes into the hospital for a prostate gland infection.

The doctor says to the woman, "I know what we'll do. After I've operated on the priest, I'll give the baby to him and tell him it was a miracle."

"Do you think it will work?" she asks the doctor.

"It's worth a try," he says. So the doctor delivers the baby and then operates on the priest. After the operation he goes in to the priest and says, "Father, you're not going to believe this."

"What?" says the priest. "What happened?"

"You gave birth to a child."

"But that's impossible!"

"I just did the operation," insists the doctor. "It's a miracle! Here's your baby."

About fifteen years go by, and the priest realizes that he must tell his son the truth. One day he sits the boy down and says, "Son, I have something to tell you. I'm not your father."

The son says, "What do you mean, you're not my father?"

The priest replies, "I'm your mother. The archbishop is your father."

In God We Trust-how old is that saying-how long do we Americans who have fought for this country just like any other American have to be inundated by the religious bastards that belive that their majority rules-only during election time when you can elect an asshole into the office-which you have done even unto the highest office of this country but you need to remember that elected officials and the balance of power that this great country represents will not allow YOUR MAJORITY to rule! The Constitution of the United States of America allows Freedom of Religion but it does not protect your religious beliefs. Now perhaps America is feeling more Christian lately because our enemies have all been of the Muslim faith-but why is that? Because we are in THEIR Country pushing YOUR religious values on them. We are supporting a RELIGIOUS Regime in Isreal that we should not be supporting and is obviously one of the biggest mistakes in American history. We are supporting DEATH and Murder!

Xians do not believe in:
•The Greek god Zeus.
•The Roman god Jupiter.
•The Norse god Odin.
•The three main gods of Hinduism: Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva.
•Titlacahuan, the omnipotent Aztec god.
•Tlalchitonatiuh, the Aztec god of the underworld.

And thousands of other gods. No one has ever been able to prove that these gods do not exist, yet no xian believes that such gods exist now or that they have existed in the past. Thus, it seems that most believers in the Judeo-xian god disbelieve in claims about other gods even though the nonexistence of such beings has not been shown. They disbelieve in such gods because there is absolutely no evidence that such beings exist. They use a presumption of atheism.

I got this answer to one of my questions...

"However, nature is fiercely economical - one needn't be a biologist to see that. If a cheetah does not need the complex social interactions of a human society, along with everything that goes with it, then nature will not bring such a characteristic about in cheetahs."

Wolves, Gorrillas, Parrots and I think even Cheetas mate for life, they all have complex social structures but not higher intelligence. I know that the first three will often become so sad after their mate dies that they stop eating and die themselves, I have seen it first hand in a large Macaw and a Wolf. Those traits aren't needed for survival and yet there they are.

Thoughts?

For a mature adult who has been involved in intimate and loving relationships, as well as discovered their sensuality...before dedicating their life to Christ. In your view, how long do you think a person like this can go without sexual relations after seriously taking the words in the bible about fornication into consideration? All remarks are welcome...serious or not

and all of the flowers and all of their scents and what about food and all of its tastes and scents. That is some amazing stuff. Do you think it just showed up here ? Do you think a huge spark of the "Big Bang" theory created all of those things ? I think not...how can you not believe in a Creator of all ? I know some things are hard to understand and lots of things don't make sense, but come on...look around at the obvious. It's right in front of us, every day. And these things I've mentioned are just a few of the gazillion examples of God's wild imagination.

I feel sad because it is a case of the many plots in history to annihilate the Jews. Even though in Esther they were saved, I think of the many pogroms that happened years later, and of the Hitler/Nazi regime.

Why do alot of religious people hate Harry Potter? I know the whole magic think is something you dont like, but what about all the other things it teaches? Like loyalty, Honesty, standing up for ur beliefs no matter how scary it is, that it doesnt matter how much money you have that is not what makes u a good person, family and friends are one of the most important things. Also the names of her characters all have some cool meanings, Minerva was the Roman goddess of school children, a teacher at hogwarts, Sirius black turns in to a big black dog, sirius means dog, Remus lupin the werewolf is named after the brother of Romulas(founder of rome) they where both raised by a she-wolf. The books teach children so much, so why hate them? J.k Rowling is the only writer in the history of the world to get literally millions of kids to turn of the tv and read, how can this be a bad thing?
