God is the formless, genderless, omnipresent, eternal energy source which is the process of life itself. Not a being, or an old guy with a long white beard and flowing robes sitting in a throne in some heaven in outer space somewhere. We are each an individuation of God, created of the same matter as God. Together we are the sum (son) total of God.

The answer to that would be whom ever you want to give your power to. You yourself are a god like being temporarily playing a game as a mortal. There are those who know this and glady take you power if you choose to give it away. The concepts of gods come from high technological beings who came to earth and tampered with the humanoid type before the one you operate in now. The needed slaves to help harvest earths natural resources and had the capability to manipulate DNA, they split the humanoid of that time into 2 genders and added some of their own DNA to the mix an walla, you have the human of today. Took them millions of years I'm sure to come up with the current model but it has been working for them. Check out the links below and see if the info works for you in regards to what I'm sharing here. God and Satan are myths created by the same beings for the purpose of controlling the sheeple.
We are not humans in search of spirituality, but spirits immersed in a human experience.

God is not a what but a Who. And yes I believe in Him.
Oops, sorry I forgot to answer why. Because all of the complexity that I see in creation demands the conclusion that there was a Designer. And since matter can't spontaneously come into existence by itself, there must have been something or Someone who existed before it did, that created it.

First I would have to say that believing in something does not make it real or true. I THINK god is the mind. I THINK the supreme being everybody associates with ''GOD'' is really A STATE OF BEING......I think...I'm still searching

The answer is:(Quote)....."God is a Supreme Spirit. He Always Was,.. He Always Is......and HE'LL ALWAYS WILL BE!!" (Unquote).
This is what I was taught at school. But, I do believe it, besides!
Who else has the vast intelligence to be able to Create such a vast Universe...and...Such a BEAUTIFUL PLANET ...LIKE THIS.EARTH!!! No MAN could do EITHER---What??!!
Man can't even LOOK AFTER This Planet, let alone create it!!
Hence the title:..'Supreme Spirit' meaning ..'God'[not 'man']
I hope this answers your question satisfactorily, and makes you feel better for knowing it!.

Like Santa and the Great Pumpkin .. An Imaginary Friend.
I'm suppose to believe this crap?:
Deut 21:18-21
18 If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father and mother, who does not heed them when they discipline him, 19then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his town at the gate of that place. 20They shall say to the elders of his town, ‘This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard.’ 21Then all the men of the town shall stone him to death. So you shall purge the evil from your midst; and all Israel will hear, and be afraid.
Yeah ... okay.

God is love. I believe in him for many reasons, but one of them is because the love of God flows through many people and many people love me because of it.

It is an AXIOM or alias DOGMA... which means "an acceptance by convention"
There is the "DOGMA and after this, there is a building, created upon this. and the building is called religion.
If you don't accept the DOGMA GOD doesn't exist. you cannot prove if there is or isn't GOD...

He is a force greater than ourselves, he is present in all things and sentient beings. He has guidelines for us. He loves us. He wants the best for us. He doesn't want to see us harmed. He sent forth His son to die for our sins and to save us.
He is Yhwh, and He wants his name known. He urges us to pray in our troubles. He wants us to help our fellow man.
