Oh Bubble and Bloom. God didn't say I should. There's a whole bunch of people saying I should, but they're people, for god's sake. What do they know? I know what they don't know and that's anything at all about god. They say a whole lot of stuff that they call 'the truth' which so obviously isn't the truth it's not worth getting into. This suggests they either don't understand what 'the truth' actually means, which is worrying, or they do understand and don't give a toss which is, if anything, even more worrying. And I think, actually, the latter is, indeed, the case. It would explain a lot and I don't find it hard to believe, at all, that there are hundreds of millions of barefaced liars in the world.

God was formed by a process whch you can never understand. it can be explained by Science, by the Chaos theory. God is a force that holds this universe together. but over time the force grew and created all of us. this force became a being because of its evolving nature and thrived on the collective emotions of all beings and creatures in this universe. when god creates a creature, it makes him very happy and he evolves, a happiness that one can never get. Now, there a millions of religions on the Earth, so which one to believe in? well, first thing you have to understand is that no religion has ever told how or when God was formed. Even christianity doesn't explain it in the Bible or Islam in the Quran. Religions are not to be forced to be followed. All religions except a few teach you how to be a social being. Satanism and other such religions are not to be followed because they degrade you and develop anger, pride, jealousy, hatred, suspicion, etc. in you. So don't follow them. follow christianity or islam or other such relgions which tell you of a Prime creator. Now, what is the use of praying, one may ask. well, i say, it is a way of telepathically linking to the creator. you can pray in anyway, whether by closing your eyes, joing your hands, etc. the creator is the Almighty most powerful. He has given me a lot which i can never forget. i always believe in him. Recently the antichrist was born. he's going to destroy god with Lucifer's help. but he doesn't know that if he does so, the entire universe along with him, me, and you will self destruct. we all must not be fooled by him. stay true to the creator always. If we all pray, i think what i believe will come true. i think that in the last minute, Lucifer will help God destroy the Antichrist. but we all must be with God.
God is everywhere around us. you asked this question because like many others, you are lost. Just close your eyes and reach out to the feelings around you and grasp them. Do some Yoga and Meditation. if you want more advice, i suggest you to go to a catholic priest, or go to the pope, or if you can't do both, ask tiki_2134@yahoo.com

I believe in God because he gives us so much proof in the Bible. There are prophecies written hundreds of years in advance, some even being fulfilled today. For example, when Babylon was defeated in the 539 BC, he foretold WHO was going to defeat them (Cyrus), WHEN (the exact date), and HOW (the army diverted the waters from the moat and they walked across. ALL of this was written in the Bible book of Daniel long before it happened. This is only ONE account out of the countless found in the Bible.
Someone mentioned 'why hasnt satan already destroyed us' (or something to that degree). Its because he doesnt want to. Kind of wierd huh? Lol; its interesting though. Since Satan had questioned God's right to rule, he has been trying to lead humans to a bad way of life, almost everybody knows this (or knows its A belief to other religions). If Satan were to kill us, he would be PROVING to God that humans can remain faithful until death, which isnt what he wants to do **obviously** so.. he wants us to live the worst lives he can get us to, so we turn our backs to God. Just think of Today, in modern society you can have sex before marriage all you want, but 50 or 100 years ago, that was UNHEARD of. The world is getting worse and worse, morally speaking, as well as physically with natural disasters and such. Well I guess most people who are going to be reading the answers will have stopped somewhere around the mention of Babylon so im finished.

I believe Jesus Christ IS God. The fact that you are asking the question or pondering such things is proof enough that He exists. It's a built-in question. Humans all over the planet search for the true living God, some settle for counterfeits.
The Jews documented that Jesus lived and was crucified, but determined He was not the Messiah. There is also Roman historical account.

I do believe in God but not as a being, or an old guy with a long white beard and flowing robes sitting in a throne in some heaven in outer space somewhere.
The God I believe in is the formless, genderless, omnipresent, eternal energy source which is the process of life itself. We are each an individuation of God, created of the same matter as God.
Together we are the sum (son) total of God.

I'm an agnostic. Whether there's a God or not He doesn't have
much effect on my life. The truth is aside from curiosity about the
origin of the universe,at this time I don't care that much if He exists or not. Maybe that will change as I grow older and closer
to death.

I have always believe in god and jesus. It's sad that some of you only believe in him when you NEED some thing how would you feel if your best friend, mother, family, a loved one only used you when they needed you instead of wanting to be with you all the time? Yes i believe in him and always will.
You believe in the wind right but you only have a little proof of that ... the tree movement = bible and you feel it same way with the lord.

I believe what the Bible says-it sounds right. But I don't feel I should join a convent,or fast,or beat myself or even pray, and sing hymns when I don't feel like I want to.I don't see God doin' miracles right here and now-I guess he's got his own schedule.I believe in decent behavior, but I always did, even before I read the Bible.I tell people I'm an Atheist, because I'm not very, very religious, and many people are.

You're right about there being no definitive proof either way. However there is what has been referred to as "teleological referencing." And for these references alone... their sheer scope of contextual impetus for impact on life, I cannot help but believe.
I've seemed to gain helpful perspectives to establish a working "sensibility" about it all via this TELEOLOGICAL REFERENCING... this basis for arguing the existence of God seems to date back to the times of St.Thomas Aquinas, but in my mind's eye, it has never lost its merits over the passage of time... especially with the numerous breakthroughs in the various fields of science... particularly those of cosmology. It has also helped for me to keep the disciplines of epistemological review & investigations in periodic "updates" along with readings in "design science." This methodological approach may have considerable or some or little meaning for you depending upon your backgroud, but I try give others my academic "world view" for gaining some sense of "personality," esp. when I'm considering these kinds of "best guess" questions... I have some views of the human desire to understand and intuitively seek out "truths" or "truth values" as they relate to "the contextual." In examining the collective human intellect (CHI) I've found a 1:1 correspondence between human "drive types" and "truth types" and there is also a 1:1 correspondence between the areas of human BOUNDEDNESS, i.e., rationality, methodology, media, & purveyance - set in context with the factos of CAUSALITY, i.e., the "formal" (conceptual), the efficient, the material, and the motivational, REPECTIVELY. In our research, these correspondences "happened" to surface or became evident quite by happenstance: Then, they seemed like major "revelations," but now, they seem almost obvious ("...Well, DUH!") At any rate, we've become or have been made to be "adequate" to apprehend, in time, the secrets of life and the universe.... very "smart" are we as a species... but oddly, sorely lacking in wisdom on how to best "manage" our newly-found insights and ever- increasing technological prowess. Physicist Hawking has rather a "lack-luster" theory on the reasons "why" we exist (and are living on this world) that he has termed The Anthropic Principle... it basically states that we are here to see (witness?) the universe "unfold" simply because of this particular universe BEING the way it is. Oh yea.. that says it all... NOT! Instead, or as an "addendum" to that, I believe our reason to be more "functional" & integral... the we, "intelligent life" (oh, really?) do indeed potentially represent the pinnicles of the "negentropic phenomina" of our universe... but that still doesn't fully answer the question, so I'm "guessing" that the "stage" we call Earth - for all of us - is also a "CLASSROOM" for the timely ACQUISITION OF TRUTH & KNOWLEDGE... But for "all that knowledge," what GAINS? ---"Oh! That in "the end" we may CLEARLY see, only the CONTENT of LOVE, remains." God, for me, IS "LOVE ETERNAL." For me, this follows from every angle of this question that I've explored. Hope this little sojourn into my own thinking has helped.
