I'm Christian myself. Something that has never been explained to me. People say Jesus is the Lord, but Jesus was the Son of the Lord. So was Jesus the Lord or is God the Lord? Or are they the same? If so, why is there a Son instead of just God? I know Jesus was sent to Earth to die for our sins, but is he a demi-God then? Thanks. Serious answers only please.

The statement God can do what God wants because God is God raises this question.

noticed how many of those who's statements are degrading, insulting or provoking us to fight among its other? Do you think they are the businessmen who like to incite hatred and violence in us so that they can profit from the sale of armaments and nuclear weapons or anything that we probably might use to harm its other? i think they are being monitored by the proper authorities.

I don't know it because it is an unprovable statement.
1) I have no proof of Jesus' existence.
2) I recognize no one as 'Lord'.
3) Like Bill Clinton I'm not sure what the definition of 'is' is.

There are over 5,000 copies of the new testament copied in Greek. And 8 to 10,000 copied in Latin. 8,000 more in other languages such as Ethiopic, Slavic, and Armanian. Throw in a few miscellaneous manuscripts and there are over 24,000 copies.

The amazing thing is they all say the same thing! Except for a few variations in spelling and stuff like that. But 99.5% of the manuscripts match up. These translators were serious about their work and regarded the documents to be sacred. The variations in the end turn out to be as minor as a few insignificant words in an entire Sunday newspaper.

So to those who think the Bible has been written wrong, How can you explain 24,000 versions of the Bible all saying the same thing?

This is question 25 in my ongoing probe into the consensus on GOD, the Bible, and the Religions that follow them.

25. How do you know which Rich Guy, Derranged Artist, Asian Monarch, or Insane Biochemist is GOD?

If you still believe that GOD is a Man, Woman, Child, Animal, Humanoid, Cyborg, Sentient Being, Cosmic Entity, or other life form, how will you know that the one that claims to be GOD is actually GOD? Not only were there quite a few beings in the Bible capable of performing various miracles, but, to be honest with you, there are a ton of miracles that can be performed with the aid of technology, poetic license, and tons and tons of money. Don't think so? How many people have flatlined and been brought back by clever Doctors? How many people have been cured of once fatal diseases by modern medicine?

If you claim that noone is capable of a feat that would convince you that they were GOD but GOD, how can you be so sure? The Bible doesn't say that. Quite the contrary.

I had a dream of this girl. I was standing in Hell next to somebody. I knew there was somebody next to me but could not tell what HE looked like. He was like a white shadow.
The girl was chained to a bed with her legs wide open(similar to the position of women giving birth). She was nake. There was a line of creatures and men covered in filth waiting their turn with her. She kept screaming for help and crying. The line had no end.

I think this is what happens to women who sin against sex. What do you think?

I knew this girl

This is the 24th question.

Since GOD is a metaphoric representation not unlike Gravity, or Time, or Corporate Law, wouldn't that make this man modern Christians worship a "God before GOD"? An idol is something that people worship as GOD that is in fact not GOD. Statues, trees, the sky, the Sun, Kings, necklaces, an idea, a fictional character...... so many things would qualify fo idolhood, including a man that does not exist that illegedly did all of these wonderful things Christians claim "their GOD" did. If there was in fact a man on GOD's throne, things would be different, but there is no man, or woman, or spirit, or a Humanoid, or even a Sentient being in charge, just a force that is everything they said it was.

Whether the average Christian (or Atheist for that matter) are willing to aknowledge that GOD is not a Humanoid or not such is the case. For me to believe in an all powerful MAN and not the true GOD would be folly. Humanizing GOD makes him no better that Zeus or Odin.
