I don't know it because it is an unprovable statement.
1) I have no proof of Jesus' existence.
2) I recognize no one as 'Lord'.
3) Like Bill Clinton I'm not sure what the definition of 'is' is.

Why do you want us to answer your question, when you've already answered it?

You can't know Jesus as Lord if you haven't accepted Him as your Lord and Savior. The proof of His existence is in the Bible, and all around. As far as Bill Clinton goes, I don't know what to tell you. He's just a man, but Jesus was God in the form of a man, and is in Heaven, sitting at God's right side.

You don't have to believe that Jesus is Lord to prove that a man named Jesus Christ existed. See the Book of Josephus. You recognize no one is Lord. For you that is correct. The bible says "Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord." Since you just did, I am still believing the bible to be true. The bible never said that you will believe it to be true just confess it . Bill Clinton was impeached for not knowing how to tell the truth under oath. Your not under oath.

That's exactly what it is - unproven.

For myself, I am spiritual, not religous. I believe there is a supreme being who I know as God, I believe that I will be rewarded for the good I do and punished for the bad. I believe that because I have high values and morals that to a certain degree, I have the option to either punish myself by way of guilt, or reward myself with happiness. I believe that there is a better place waiting for me when I die and I will answer for my life at that time. I do not read the bible as it has been translated too many times to count and I am not sure of the accuracy.

I read the Universal Theology of the New Church by Swedenborg and there is plenty of proof in there if you give it a chance. If you don't give it a chance, may as well keep on asking questions for the rest of you life and saying nobody ever gave you an answer (even though it wouldn't be true - somebody did hand you the answers).

hey, I know that Jesus is real.
Why don't you pray to Him so that He can reveal Himself to you.

Deuteronomy 4:29 - "But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul."
