No. It does say that you should love God with all your heart:
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40
And the Bible says that if we seek God we can find Him:
So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Luke 11:9
Seek the LORD while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55:6
And in the examples of the Ethiopian eunuch and Cornelius.
Paul talks about the dangers of following your conscience alone in Acts 22:1-23:1. Also Jeremiah 17:9 says:
“The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked;
Who can know it?
That's where trust comes in. We have to study God's word and trust Him to keep His promises and help us find Him. We cannot trust our own hearts exclusively, but trust God to work on our hearts.

i don't think the Bible might want to be taken one hundred% actually, if this is what you propose...I purely replied an similar question a lengthy time period in the past. the first financial disaster of Genesis states that animals were created earlier guy, the 2d financial disaster states that guy became created, than the animals. The Israelites complained to Moses about no longer having nutrition, yet they continually looked as if it would have distinct farm animals, sheep, rams, goats, youngsters, etc. even as they needed to furnish a sacrifice after each significant experience. The inhabitants of the earth became curiously wiped out by the flood (no longer counting the 8 human beings on the ark), yet became completely replenished below three hundred years later (Abraham became born, and later encountered the Canaanites, the Egyptians, etc.). that would not propose i believe the Bible to be a e book of lies...it purely shows the imperfections of the persons who wrote it and translated it.

Yes the bible does say that if you believe something with all your heart it will come true but we must not confuse faith with positive thinking.

Just because it's in a book, doesn't mean it's true. BTW, the Bible is a compilation of stories, God didn't write it.

Absolutely not.
What you are describing is the tendancy of natural, sinful ,un-regenerate mankind to think that if something is believed strongly enough, that makes it true.

No it does not. In order for something to be true, it must be true-believing will not make anything true. Believing in something that IS true is what it says.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.~John 3:16
If you are speaking of something else, you might want to be more detailed in your question.

It is all in your mind and it will not be true. But in the end we will be very right or very wrong.
