Depends on your definition of "god". We are made in His image for he gave us dominion over everything on the Earth so I suppose in a round about way we are gods of the Earth but that is definitley with a lower case g.

I think that each person has a portion of God in them. We were made in God's image, and were made by god, so we are part of him. If you build a chair, you put some of yourself into that chair. If you build a universe, you put some of yourself into that universe. All people have some sort of divine aspect about them, but with some, it's harder to see. Some believe that our souls are part of God him/her/itself, and that when we die, we become a part of God. This is only a suggestion, however, so I may be completely wrong.

If you drew a cartoon of yourself, would it be wrong for that cartoon to think it is you? No matter how hard it tried, it could not imagine the physical dimension of depth that you live in. So to, there is no way we can even imagine the depth of God.

There is another dimension to life, available through God. He is the portal, the door so to speak. Unfortunately, you have to die to enter. But don't worry, you will live again.

We are made in his image does not mean we are clones of him. It means we have attributes which represent him, and just like anything representing a governing or respectable body, it should be respected. E.g. Americans would be highly offended to see an american flag being burned b/c it represents america. similarly, I think one can say that we should treat eachother with respect b/c we all are representatives of G-d.

i think since we're all created in god's image, we all have SOME godlike characteristics....things, aspects, desires, feelings, that reflect god......BUT we're also mostly human, so we've got lots of peoplelike characterisics too. i guess the more we try to reflect god's image, the closer we are to god.

If the potter makes a statue to look like him, does that make the statue the potter?

Neither does it make us God.

If someone made a clone of you, would the clone then become you? No, you'd still be you and they'd still be a clone.

There is nothing wrong with thinking that. I believe it to be true.
