I'm inclined to concur, however, I believe his "victory dance" doesn't really begin until there is a very real, active, ever-hardening of the heart. Once an individual becomes closed to the fellowship of others, then hope is all but lost. So I put my money on what Ewald termed as the "Autonomy -Withdrawl Syndrome," where there is a severe lack of sustained meaningful human contact. Satan divides, then trys to conquer the human spirit. Isolation leads to depression. We must change this sickness in our society.

Satan is a false accuser & slanderer, liar, murderer, thief, etc... So, unforgiviness of self or others is based in Satan's lies.
Any child of God needs to realize they have to walk in forgiveness or it can feel like hell, and that can cause a malady (any human disease or moral or mental disorder).
If one confesses their sins to God, He is just to forgive them and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. (Of course the salvation/ foundational sin to confess is repenting of not believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.)

heck yes, i think you're right. cancer and aids are good answers, cause they kill, but i think you got the best answer--depression--because if satan can get u to live miserably (and even spread your misery to others!) you'll live defeated and unhappy and be worse off than if you were dead and a hero to somebody!
